Hearing about the supreme king and the gentle darkness, you gotta appreciate how much Yu-Gi-Oh sticks to it's guns that darkness is not an evil attribute. Hell, you could argue light is more often shown to be the inherent evil in the world
It varies depending on the user, but it is nice how darkness is not inherently evil. Atem, for example, is literally named "Dark Yugi" for a good while, but he's essentially the protagonist for the first half or more of the original series (at which point regular Yugi begins to take the stage more) despite being dark aligned.
There is that in the Noble night archetype as well Artorigus is a XYZ monster a "Dark" card while Lancelot(dont remember) is a synchro monster, a "Light" card

I saw the Dark Fusion art as Bustinatrix being the most worried about Judais health. Since it would be the first time he used them while being the Supreme King. Burstinatrix seems to be the big sister/mom for Jaden just like Amethyst Cat is the same for Jesse. Like she’s looking back because she knows somethings wrong with him but she and the other heros can’t help him right now. Like “I know I can’t help you, but I’ll stay by your side.” Kinda like how Yubel feels towards Jaden. And since The Elemental heros, mainly Burstinatrix and Avian are the most important Elemantal Heros Until Neos popped up.

I remember being disappointed that there wasn't an Evil HERO version of shining flare wingman or Neos when i was a kid, maybe they could make them as future support?
Idk why but I love the fact that these cards were Earth/Fiend is just awesome to me. There aren't too many other Earth/Fiend monsters as far as I know but I'm no expert
Not gonna lie, i hope they add yubel and jaden yubel to the gates and give them their own unlock missions. Because i swear to god, if i have to deal with another yubel event, I'm yeeting a child out of a window.
While Dark Fusion does have rather underwhelming artwork (as does Super Polymerisation come to it), it does kinda support your 'Bustrinatrix a little Evil' theory, since Dark Fusion seems to be causing Avian pain, while Burstinatrix seems more resigned to the situation, as if she's familiar with the scenario.
Adusted's art looks so cool Dark Fusion's art may be a bit too anime-feeling. never thought about it having different art, but imagine it'd be like Poly with inverted colors
Technically, neos wiseman is a exactly that, even tho I think it is sadly not considered part of the archetypes. Having an evil hero yubel would be interessting tho.
But not inherently evil, just a being that has existed since the beginning of the cosmos who only came to hope prevent further genocide from the human race.
@@kashtiranaxxheart covering the world in darkness will kill everything but some single celled organisms living by volcanic vents. Even if humanity was the only thing he personally targeted, it wouldn't spare anything else from the same conclusion.
Evil Hero Malicious Bane looks more like a fusion between Infernal Gainer and Malicious Edge. Evil Hero Malicious Fiend looks like a fusion of Malicious Edge and an Evil Token, which is brought out with the effect of Vicious Claw, which was typically equipped to Malicious Edge. In fact, Malicious Fiend was brought out this way via Super Polymerization.
Personally, I like to add Darkness/Nightshroud to the Light-Dark dichotomy of GX. The Gentle Darkness is as you described it. However, Nightshroud represents the absolute extreme version of that idea.
I always thought it's probably the same for Dragon Ball Z with Gogeta and Vegeto. If you pay attention, both have a pretty different behavior. Vegeto is more playful and immature like Goku while Gogeta (the original one, not the GT version which is way closer to Vegeto), is way more quiet and serious like Vegeta. So I always theorized that a different one takes the lead in both fusions.
"The supreme King is not entirely evil" Everyone in GX:"Ya gotta be kidding, buddy" Btw, I kinda like how who takes over the shared body in the flame wing-fusion changes between normal fusion and dark fusion. Kinda a literal twist on jadens favorite monster instead of just a thematic twist. And it also kinda fits the theory of jaden having such a bond with the monster because it being a fusion of a male and a female hero reminds his subcontiousness of yubel where the genderline is kinda blurry, making it almost whatever.
Look up “Evil Hero ORICA Deck” and you SHOULD find a video if this Spanish guy opening an English structure deck, of ORICA cards, FULL of evil hero retrains for the Elemental Heros
The orica cards are honestly sorta cool, but konami wont make much more evil hero stuff. The fusion is stupid good and thier versions of captain gold and necroshade are amazing too
Watching this again and I just thought how the “core” of the Burstinatrix fusion could be due to her attack being higher and defense lower than Avian and Clayman! So like “good” fusions are defense dependent then the “evil” ones are due to attack
I'd love to see Evil Hero versions of the Manga fusions, the ones that are "1 Elemental Hero + 1 [attribute] monster", maybe invert their attributes so making one with a Fire monster gets you a Water Evil Hero or smth, that could be cool
I Love all of the Hero Family ^^ and I think that Evil Hero need a little more support (for can be play pure and/or with Elemental Hero) like a Dark version of Bubbleman, a Rock Evil Hero monster with a good attack for Dark Gaia and also a spell card or a monster that can add one Evil Hero Monster from your deck to your hand or can send one Evil Hero from your deck to your grave. For the extra deck, I think that some new Evil Hero fusion like a fusion of 2 Evil Hero Monsters, a fusion of one Evil Hero monster with one Hero monster and maybe a fusion of Evil Hero Inferno Wing with Sparkman and a fusion with Burstinatrix and Sparkman can be cool ^^ ... I think also that it's can be nice if Evil Hero can have access to a link-2 Xtra Hero that help them ^^ What do you think about my idea ^^ ?
Elemental heroes: super heroes of justice Destiny heroes: anti-heroes who believe in their own self justice Evil heroes: A necessary evil to bring order to all chaos
I think your theory is solid. If we look at rampart blaster it is overwhelmingly a defensive card. I think Clayman might have some strong pacifist leanings. He wants to protect people but DOESN'T want to hurt anyone to do it. To that end, his power is mainly defensive and it takes a fusion with more aggressive heroes like Burstinatrix and Sparkman to get him to act aggressively. I think this lends some credence to more aggressive monsters taking center stage for evil heroes while more defensive and more traditionally benevolent ones take the stage when they are elemental heroes.
I like how all the different heroes have a purpose and meaning to their variations of a hero Elemental heroes:the pure good heroes normally when one falls another hero rises to take its place and they all call on or rely on each others Destiny heroes:anti-heroes that serves justice by any means necessary mostly solo heroes Evil hero: corrupted heroes that serve their own justice basically beatdown conquer and rule by force to the point of being a villian Vision heroes: the futuristic heroes that see or has seen the potential of all heros if they work together so they assist and make them all stronger independently and especially as one Xtra heroes:nothing for em they just extenders
I just love how Evil Heroes are the advanced versions of regular heroes. What's your favorite Evil Hero? Mine is Dark Gaia! Such cool card and it can OTK easily.
2:53 so your saying Jaden wasn't corrupted by the power of the dark because of his anger, but the power of the dark was corrupted by Jaden because he awakened it in a moment of anger
A funny card for this Archetype would be something like a "fusion-corruption", where you exchnge an elemental hero fusion for its evil hero counterpart and equip the card to the summoned monster. It then gains extra effects, but is destroyed if the "fusion-corruption" is destroyed.
Another thing to consider in your assessment of Avion and Burstinotrix is the relation of their elements, Wind and Fire . . . Wind is more kin to the positive side as it can fan flames as well as blow them out, where as Fire is more kin to the negative side in that it burns and consumes air and therefore wind. Same with Hell Sniper, with Rampart being built more as a shield and thus taking on more Earth which slows her down and limits her abilities, and Sniper burning with greater flame to become an "Offensive Defense" that can burn more freely while still being a protective guard.
Wait no, the bit about the evil counterpart of Dark Gaia isn’t true. It is named Dark Gaia because the first appearance in the anime was from a super poly of Infernal Gainer and Jim’s monster, Gaia Plate.
Does anyone realise that dark gaia’s hero counterpart has been right in front of us this whole time, elemental hero shining flare wingman. They both share an ability to increase their attack points depending on what is in the graveyard/ their fusion material. Also their colour pallets and designs are opposites, dark Gaia has jagged, dark grey armour with red and orange highlights while shining flare has smooth, shiny, silver armour with green and blue highlights. And one final hint is that flare wingman uses spark man a light/electric type monster while Gaia uses a earth/rock monster. Dark Gaia= molten magma/ lava Flare wingman= flare/ light
Only recently started watching GX again after it getting cancelled on CN and haven't made it to the end of season 3 but it's really cool the Evil Heroes aren't necessarily Evil. To take a page from One Piece I suppose you could say they represent Absolute Justice. Beings that will go to any length to ensure Justice is carried out. I always thought they were just pure evil but I suppose not! Guess I can feel not guilty using them now lol.
If I had to change dark fusion I would make it a red and green variant of normal polymerization but more jagged with the red replacing the blue and green replacing the orange. It fits in terms of symbolism with association and theming
Actually there is a way to get Dark Gaia’s ATK even Higher! Using Supreme Kings Castle, Greater Polymerization, with Valkyron the magna warrior, Dystopia the Despondent, and Malefic Truth Dragon as the MINIMUM 3 materials you can make Dark Gaia have a base attack of 13500 minimum.
I like dark fusion's art. I like to think that since the card is not dark polymerization, it should have its own original art. And besides, we already have super polymerization, I think dark polymerization would be overkill.
Going off what you said about Infernal Sniper’s effect being leagues better than Rampart Blaster’s, Rampart Blaster eventually got an errata making it so she can only attack directly if your opponent doesn’t control any monsters
They missed the opportunity to name this archetype Fallen HERO / F-HERO so that we would have the A to Z HERO big archetype in the far possible future.
One card I think we need in the evil hero archtype is an evil version of Wroughtwrighler. Also Evil Hero Dark Necrom looks like Lord Zedd from power rangers to me.

Maybe Burstinatrix has some anger-management issues and is a closet pyromaniac? she is not evil per se, but more like "a wild card"
Idk why but I love the fact that these cards were Earth/Fiend is just awesome to me. There aren't too many other Earth/Fiend monsters as far as I know but I'm no expert
I hope that there will be an event to get the supreme king in duel links

Seems unlikely sadly, given that there already were yubel events
While Dark Fusion does have rather underwhelming artwork (as does Super Polymerisation come to it), it does kinda support your 'Bustrinatrix a little Evil' theory, since Dark Fusion seems to be causing Avian pain, while Burstinatrix seems more resigned to the situation, as if she's familiar with the scenario.
Adusted's art looks so cool
Dark Fusion's art may be a bit too anime-feeling. never thought about it having different art, but imagine it'd be like Poly with inverted colors
13:24 kinda funny how wildman is still the core in both fusions
To this day i can't believe we haven't gotten a "Evil HERO Yubel". or a "Neo-Spacian HERO Yubel"

However, Nightshroud represents the absolute extreme version of that idea.
it's not a dichotomy, there's a lot of overlap
Malicious Bane has the wings of Wild Cyclone
I always thought it's probably the same for Dragon Ball Z with Gogeta and Vegeto. If you pay attention, both have a pretty different behavior. Vegeto is more playful and immature like Goku while Gogeta (the original one, not the GT version which is way closer to Vegeto), is way more quiet and serious like Vegeta. So I always theorized that a different one takes the lead in both fusions.
You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Always loved the Evil Heros. One of my favorites
Malicious babe with his best buddy Aduster and dark calling really made life a little bit easier

Btw, I kinda like how who takes over the shared body in the flame wing-fusion changes between normal fusion and dark fusion.
Flame wing-MAN

The orica cards are honestly sorta cool, but konami wont make much more evil hero stuff. The fusion is stupid good and thier versions of captain gold and necroshade are amazing too
19:35 i would prefer if dark fusion was a reference to the anime artwork of polymmerization
But a darker look
Dark fusion’s art kinda helps boost your theory. It kinda show burstinatrix looking around like “ please don’t let anyone see”
I think there definitely needs to be more Evil hero support, in the form of extra deck monsters, main monsters and maybe a couple of traps
Agreed as we need evil Retrains of Avian, Burstinatrix, Bubbleman, Sparkman and Clayman and an upgrade to Inferno Wing.
I would love evil versions of all the hero’s and dark variants for all fusions, just makes it more fun
Like what if Elemental Hero Tempest becomes something like Evil Hero Malevolent Maelstrom?
Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween tgs!
My favorite archetype, shame that they got short-printed so bad that they're nearly 100 bucks in the states.
Watching this again and I just thought how the “core” of the Burstinatrix fusion could be due to her attack being higher and defense lower than Avian and Clayman!
So like “good” fusions are defense dependent then the “evil” ones are due to attack
A good guess too
I'd love to see Evil Hero versions of the Manga fusions, the ones that are "1 Elemental Hero + 1 [attribute] monster", maybe invert their attributes so making one with a Fire monster gets you a Water Evil Hero or smth, that could be cool
You mean more
I Love all of the Hero Family ^^ and I think that Evil Hero need a little more support (for can be play pure and/or with Elemental Hero) like a Dark version of Bubbleman, a Rock Evil Hero monster with a good attack for Dark Gaia and also a spell card or a monster that can add one Evil Hero Monster from your deck to your hand or can send one Evil Hero from your deck to your grave.
A link-2 Xtra HERO monster meant to support Evil HEROs you say...?
Well there is evil hero toxic bubble though it’s currently Japanese exclusive
Elemental heroes: super heroes of justice
Destiny heroes: anti-heroes who believe in their own self justice
Evil heroes: A necessary evil to bring order to all chaos
That was so profound🥇
@@willysharpe1169 thank you.
So happy they've gotten support after so long. Hope there will be more
We need Evil Hero retrains of the Og heroes.
I like how all the different heroes have a purpose and meaning to their variations of a hero
Elemental heroes:the pure good heroes normally when one falls another hero rises to take its place and they all call on or rely on each others
Destiny heroes:anti-heroes that serves justice by any means necessary mostly solo heroes
Evil hero: corrupted heroes that serve their own justice basically beatdown conquer and rule by force to the point of being a villian
Vision heroes: the futuristic heroes that see or has seen the potential of all heros if they work together so they assist and make them all stronger independently and especially as one
Xtra heroes:nothing for em they just extenders
onion boi to put it simply its just heroes going plus ultra

2:53 so your saying Jaden wasn't corrupted by the power of the dark because of his anger, but the power of the dark was corrupted by Jaden because he awakened it in a moment of anger
not exactly, it's a bit too complicated to explain in a RUclips comment
Supreme king judai is my favorite yugioh character of all time
A funny card for this Archetype would be something like a "fusion-corruption", where you exchnge an elemental hero fusion for its evil hero counterpart and equip the card to the summoned monster.
It then gains extra effects, but is destroyed if the "fusion-corruption" is destroyed.
Lady burst is a little more evil than featherman confirmed
Hey TGS Anime, finally your keeping your Yu-Gi-Oh Archetype videos up to date!
2:54 YOU HAD THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO SAY EVIL AND DIDN'T!
Mermaid man? "Eeeeeeviiiillllll!!!!!"
1:45 - I love this interpretation on Haou's emergence.
Wait no, the bit about the evil counterpart of Dark Gaia isn’t true. It is named Dark Gaia because the first appearance in the anime was from a super poly of Infernal Gainer and Jim’s monster, Gaia Plate.
Let him cook
Does anyone realise that dark gaia’s hero counterpart has been right in front of us this whole time, elemental hero shining flare wingman. They both share an ability to increase their attack points depending on what is in the graveyard/ their fusion material. Also their colour pallets and designs are opposites, dark Gaia has jagged, dark grey armour with red and orange highlights while shining flare has smooth, shiny, silver armour with green and blue highlights. And one final hint is that flare wingman uses spark man a light/electric type monster while Gaia uses a earth/rock monster. Dark Gaia= molten magma/ lava
Flare wingman= flare/ light
9:53 Yeah, Burstinatrix has to deal with a lot. Don't remind her of the Maiden In Love episode; I can't imagine she'll react very well.
Infernal gainer looks like his design was based on summoned skull
Had to return here after the news supports we got Today🎉🎉🎉🎉
Let's hope we got even more support in the following month
If I had to change dark fusion I would make it a red and green variant of normal polymerization but more jagged with the red replacing the blue and green replacing the orange. It fits in terms of symbolism with association and theming
For dark fusion's artwork I would like it to look like polymerization but with the monsters in the artwork being black
I agree with your theory about burstintrix and avian fusing. She’s always been a baddie
Its would be cool if konami would make a new evil hero version of neos this can be supreme king ace monster
Bro😂 brooooooooooooooo
Going off what you said about Infernal Sniper’s effect being leagues better than Rampart Blaster’s, Rampart Blaster eventually got an errata making it so she can only attack directly if your opponent doesn’t control any monsters
Dark fusion's art should've been a style that would be similar to a mix of polymerization and dark hole
Unfortunately Evil Heroes got some new support today in the new main yugioh core set: called Supreme Darkness
I forgot super polymerisation came from the evil hero deck
They missed the opportunity to name this archetype Fallen HERO / F-HERO so that we would have the A to Z HERO big archetype in the far possible future.
I can't lie always loved the evil hero more than there elemental counterparts I feel like they have that anti-hero vibe going for them
Yes yes of course we need more Evil HERO Cards they rule

Meet evil hero devel neos 👿👿👿👿👿👿😈
Bubleman : you guys got evil counterpart?

We need more evil heros to finally topping event
I feel like the reason burstinatrix is the core, is because evil is the opposite of good, so the core is reversed too
One card I think we need in the evil hero archtype is an evil version of Wroughtwrighler. Also Evil Hero Dark Necrom looks like Lord Zedd from power rangers to me.
Malicious Fiend is tied for the highest atk, along with Elemental HERO Cosmos Neos.
Were dealing with main deck monsters. As Cosmic Neos is an extra deck monster
@@Limegreenedragon Typo, I meant to say that Malicious FIEND is tied for the highest amongst all HEROs. With that being said, Malicious EDGE (God I hate the Evil HERO names) is still not the highest amongst main deck monsters. He's tied for third (along with Bladedge) 2nd is Vision HERO Witch Raider and 1st is Destiny Hero Dogma.
Malicious Bane might a counterpart to Grandmerge thematically, as it's an amalgam of the Evil Heroes like Grandmerge is for the Elemental Heroes.
Also, Sinister Necrom is just Lord Zedd.
