Front Winch Bumper for Toyota 4x4 Budget Build!

The 1st gen Toyota 4x4 pickup is all but finished but still there was something missing. I needed a WINCH BUMPER! The truck came with a good quality steel bumper with recovery points but the way it was attached made it unusable for any real work.
To fix the issue I added a reinforcement to the front crossmember and sank some m12 nuts in to bolt the winch bumper up to it. Now the front frame section is a lot stronger and the bumper can be used out on the trail as intended.

Nice truck , are you with dual transfer case? if not do you have any issue on the drive shaft angle? I have an 83 but with only one transfer case but when i shift to 4 high there is a clunking sound , i thought it was the transfer case , but when i replace the transfer case the clunking sound are still there, i'm guessing its the drive shaft angle, what is your drive shaft angle , thanks in advance.

Dual T cases. Custom driveshafts. You may be dealing with axle wrap with the rear leaf springs if that’s the problem a track bar would help.
