I don’t know how bands are somehow doing it LESS now that the technology to do it is more accessible than ever.
The Sacrament video, the Chimaira movies, even those Linkin Park movies made me appreciate that band. There’s something really special about seeing how everything starts as an idea.

It's probably their most creative album, and it's my personal favorite. I feel like the only album that's come close to Ashes was probably Resolution.
As much as I hate to say it, Chris Adler was right about their music being "by the numbers" by the time he quit. I think their most recent album is easily one of their weakest, and it's crazy to think that the songwriting on that album is by the same group of people that made Ashes of the Wake.

    • @GeorgeZimmermen

@@ex_cathedra4237 that’s funny because I think resolution is their weakest and it sounds like they were going through the motions. I think the new one is really good and resurrection man is the best song they’ve written since walk with me in hell.

On the way to myrtle beach we got pulled over for the plate light being out in darlington.had to spend the night in Jail. Went to court the next morning got out about 1:30 and hauled ass to to the house of blues. It was a killer show.

Great interview! Mark and the other guys are so down to earth and honest about what they do and who they are, I’ve always appreciated that about them. I haven’t listened to the newest album yet if I’m honest but I should do that soon. As the Palaces Burn, Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament are still albums I can go back to and really enjoy any time. Lamb of God was also one of the first bands I got into that had harsh vocals exclusively so they were my gateway into a lot of the more extreme stuff. Thanks guys 🤘🤘

I am a drummer… I was 14 when I was way into them… their new album I was surprised and still am amazed that the drummer who replaced Chris fucking killed it… epic fills and of course there was a million kids like me who could play every song and prolly just as good as Chris.. the album is amazing and just now getting into Bloodshot Eyes which is a cool song about getting over addiction and drinking which is extremely relatable to the band and me. There is five songs on the album you can’t tell me aren’t Bangers.
