This video will show you exactly that along with other useful tips you don't want to miss. You will want to manage the Google My Business in a way that works for you and your client. So it will be useful to decide beforehand what limitations and powers you will both have. So you need to understand Owners, managers, and site managers before you set up Google My Business for a client.
The last thing you want is the Laurel and Hardy sketch where the dish is washed up by Hardy, then Laurel drys it and puts it on the side of Hardy. So make sure you and your client understand what powers and limitations are in place and never assume.
So what is Google My Business Owners? Each profile can have multiple owners, but only one primary owner. Owners and primary owners have the same capabilities, but a primary owner can’t remove themselves from a profile until they transfer their primary ownership to another user.
Should I make them a Google My Business Manager? Managers have most of the capabilities of an owner but don’t have more sensitive capabilities, like removing the profile or managing users.
How about using Site managers is that the ideal power? Site managers have most of the capabilities of a manager, but can’t edit all business information. A site manager can request to upgrade to a manager or owner of a verified listing. The owner can approve or deny the request.

@ermagerd101 yes you can set it up and follow the video, then make them the primary owner that's all fine

pls i wanna ask a question, i just created gmb page for a client, and the business is located at a particular place, the client googled his line of business around his vicinity but many businesses popped up and his too wasn't even listed, pls what can i do ?
i also did same n couldn't find the business name too.......
eg, assuming the line of business is a laundry business in Canada, Toronto, and I googled laundry outlets in Toronto, how can the business be listed n how can such business be ranked?

In case a client does not have any google map listing and wants to list their business on google maps, what do you suggest is the best way of helping them out keeping in mind that we want the least amount of time and effort for them and provide them with a completed google listing?
I was thinking of creating a Gmail on their behalf and claiming business through it which can be then shared with the client. Let me your thoughts on this or if you have an alternative suggestion. Thanks
For security reasons I would always ask the client to register a gmail account and allow them to manage it as this always gives them an honest control of their business from the start

Is there a recent video for this? As I've heard GMB is changing or has changed... I want to manage about 3 different profiles
If you have several accounts you can access them by typing into google "My Business" This then provides the Google Business Profile Manager. Does it show for you?

No, that would need to be transferred across by the primary owner

I dont want to get my gmb suspended because i am in usa and she is in europe. So how to manage different gmb overseas without getting the business suspended because of different IP and location? How to help business who have yet to claim their business on google maps/ search? Do I need to log in to their GMB account?

I would contact the potential clients first before I access there accounts or try and manage or claim their GMB and put a package together to help them based on there requirements

Just register it on behalf of the client, as long as they receive and confirm verification at there business address its pretty straightforward

Hello i've heard that gmb now is sensitive let say i have client from USA and i am from australia and then he wants me to optimize or manage his google business acct. But once i've change some of the details google will banned that gmb acct. Is that true?
I'm not aware of that, I've optimised GMB accounts all over the world from the UK and never had an issue

I know how to set up a GMB for a client, how do I get all my businesses on a dashboard. Do I have to sign up as an agency. It seems to want me to get a website, business license etc.
What does it look like currently when you have more than one business added to an account?
@@ZanetDesign I have to sign in with a different gmail for each of my 3 accounts. To get the dashboard for multiple accounts I believe I read I have to sign up as an agency.
Correction I have it set up on different but I have the option of adding a business to a single email.
I'm not sure on whether an agency account would be needed as unless your an agency you should be able to run multiple accounts
If you enable management access to one Gmail account it should work when you log in with that account and give you a list of all your business listings associated with the Gmail account
