PSA: In another review it said (and demonstrated) that the internal recording has a ringing noise that is quite noticeable and can ruin the recording, so be aware.

I have not setup the Audio on a current model gopro, so I am sure, but it should be like any other mic.

My sentiments exactly. Tested this model over on our channel and it held it's own very well... even against full-fledged mics. Ended up using electrical tape to lock the magnetic clip in place :)

The clip thing is a concern for me, since I'd kinda like to use it while bike riding. It's gonna swivel around, and if it's attached to an action camera, it's gonna fly off with a bump. Taping it down sounds like a good hack.

Hi Mark, how are the levels for the internal recording set up? I did not notice any buttons and I do not suppose it has the 32-bit floating recording feature.

It appears it is control by the gain control on the receiver, but this does leave the question, can you use the transmitters as a recoding device without use the receiver to set the gain. Nothing I could find in the manual about it.

@@markwiemels Were you able to test the stand alone functionality out?

Err... IIRC Doesn't one or some of the Deity Wireless Mics models come with SD Card internal recording as well? Or is that option only available on the higher priced or Pro Versions?
