Massive fireworks display for China's 70th anniversary

- Beijing skies lit up with a stunning fireworks display on Oct 1, as China marked the 70th anniversary of its founding. An outdoor gala directed by Chinese director Zhang Yimou saw thousands taking part in synchronised dance in Tiananmen Square. Zhang had also directed the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. (Video: APTN, Reuters)

I’m still getting over their spectacular opening/closing ceremonies held in Beijing when they hosted the summer Olympics! Can’t forget the “bird nest” stadium or the lighting of The Olympic torch either.
Good news is Beijing China is hosting the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympics Games so there will be more to come from China.
The world military games were held last night in wuhan, China, with soldiers from 109 countries participating

I watched an interview about the band. The band is so huge that the sound has a little delay while traveling in the air. To solve this problem, they have headsets connected to the web that have a metronome in it. (Im not sure whether im saying the exact thing. What I want to say is that this stuff has a same beat for all the people in the band.)

Wow! Absolutely amazing display. Love the massive orchestra. The tree scene fireworks was spectacular! Makes other firework shows pale in comparison. My parents left China in the 50s. Would've been interesting to be born there and grow up. Love being stateside but feel the pull from my motherland! Plan to go back again and stay for an extended period. Long live China!
