Jay Park is the dude who got me into Korean music. He's a crazy talented singer, dancer, and rapper. He is from Seattle and originally moved to South Korea to be trained as a K-Pop idol. He debuted as the front man of JYP's K-Pop boy group 2PM, but then some throwaway myspace comments he made as a teenager about Korean culture went viral and lead to him being cancelled so he left JYP and came back to the US. He went back to SK later to form two of the biggest hip hop labels in Korea and was signed to Roc Nation (Jay-Z's label) for his English music.

You guys should check out Kara’s killing voice! They are an older group who debuted in 2007 and are one of the most loved KPOP girl groups from that time. They are also really popular in Japan. They have been though a lot, with two members leaving and one passing away. They recently came back in 2022 so the two members who left are back.
