I have to admit I’d never heard the term lookouts for a view, must be an Aussie thing, the view at 125r was absolutely amazing. An incredible view, I’d love to see that again in good weather 🤩🤩

Mudduck's 4wd Touring it’s just a view point back here. A lookout is something we had as a kid in the den looking out for adults (parents) 🤣🤣

Its a beautiful area thats for sure. Plenty of room for camping although it does get pretty damn busy on a weekend.
Hi, I was very happy to find this clip, as I have just been out to most of those lookout's on Georges Rd, didn't notice 84R, and Nameless, but my main objective was to get out to 125R...awesome, scary place...what a view. Now you mentioned that there is a lookout off Taylors Rd, but have you been out further ??? going passed Taylors Rd, on Murrell's Rd, to the comm tower, turn down to the right and there's 2 really nice lookout's down there...then if you go out even further, you'll come to a vista that overlooks Mt Vincent, and then even further along again, there's another that looks west, where hang glider take off from. I have a lot of pic's on my Facebook page. Cheers.

I'm local to Newcastle and thinking of doing a day trip to check out some of those locations.
Would you say a awd like a 2016 Hyundai Santa fe handle the roads.
Or would I be better off in a 4x4 nirvana?
Hi mate, thanks for watching, As a 4wder I would always suggest the Navara over the Sante fe, but with careful driving Im sure you could do it, most roads up there are not too tough, if you stick to the forest roads and not the tracks. Hope this helps. Stay safe. Cheers Steve

No control on the ads mate, but thats why you can skip them lol, wasn't the plan to splash James but was pretty funny.
@@MudducksTouringAustralia I think RUclips has changed their settings regarding ads again because even people that dont monetise their videos are copping them and quite a few.

Hi Mick, when we shot this the roads were pretty easy and I would not worry going alone. With that said it can change quickly up there so if you have some mates that would be cool too. Cheers Steve
