@@red_visuals it’s clearly made of metal. I have a few other Sigma C and Sony G lenses to compare it to. On a chilly day, all of them are much warmer to the touch than this macro lens, clearly indicating that this one has a metal body. As far as the focus ring, I’m not sure if it’s plastic or metal-it’s just not rubber.
absolutely agree! i bought this lens a week ago still trying to get used to it, but the pictures are very detailed and sharp like you said
nice review
Just in case. This lens has a metal (aluminium) construction, not plastic.
Great video 👏
Thank you
Better than a GM lens and better image quality.
Do you think the Sony 90mm can be used with the Sony FX30 for macro videography? Thanks!
Hey, the FX30 uses a Sony E Mount so it would work with the 90mm Macro, and I've heard it's an great camera, so it should work just fine.
@@red_visuals thank you!
You're welcome 🤗
FYI the "cheap plastic" body is not plastic and the "focus rubber" is not rubber 😉
Interesting, what is it made out of then? Always thought it was plastic
