      You need to make another part to this after this year. I don't care how he got his wins, he has shown he deserves the 48. He is having a breakout year. Not the most consistent but none the less impressive so far. He will probably steal another win or two or maybe just won them straight up. He is slowly showing his capability.

    Alex can really do so much when the HMS cars are actually good.. HMS was really quick in the 2016 Chase and he capitalized with some great qualifying runs, a few top 10s, and the dominant race at Phoenix that he only lost control of because a lot of the desperate Chase guys took 2 tires on the last stop. 2018 was a horrible year for the team outside of the 9 car, and in 2019 and 2020 when HMS has had hot streaks you always see him either win a race or come very close. I think he'll have a breakout season when/if Hendrick can actually manage to be good for the entire year.
    Alex Bowman is proof that it's possible to take a backmarker driver, put them in good equipment, and see them succeed. I love seeing someone like him in a top ride among most of the other young guns who just had the typical "rise through the ranks" paths.

    Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, has joined 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Hendrick Motorsports to form a multiyear marketing and technology relationship that will run through June 2023, the team announced Wednesday.
    In 2020, Acronis will be featured as a three-race primary partner of the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Alex Bowman. The car will appear during the Aug. 22-23 Dover International Speedway doubleheader weekend and the Oct. 25 playoff race at Texas Motor Speedway - NASCAR

    Bowman is a wheelman. Dude has literally fought and earned his way up the "old fashioned way". This is why his success this season is really great to see. 3 wins at this posting, Richmond, Dover and Pocono. I think he is fully capable of winning the Championship this season. Alex Bowman has my respect which is something I don't give a lot of "drivers" in today's NASCAR.

      Bowman has been in cup series way longer than Byron. Bowman made all of his “rookie” mistakes under the radar, while byron’s were known. There was just something from the beginning I liked about Alex and it REALLY ticked me off when Tommy Baldwin kicked him to the curb. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise apparently. 🤩

  • @TheForeverRanger
    @TheForeverRanger 3 года назад

    Bowman worked his ass off to get where he is. After Tommy Baldwin gave him the boot, he was an HMS test driver and spent a ton of time in the simulator helping the other guys out. Dale Jr goes down with a concussion and Jeff is sucking it up so they throw a Hail Mary with Bowman. Bowman shows out and the car looked great when he was behind the wheel of the 88. The only reason Bowman didn't run the rest of the 2016 schedule was that Axalta wanted Jeff behind the wheel when they were on the hood. In 2017 Dale announces his retirement and Bowman immediately becomes a favorite for the seat assuming Nationwide and Axalta play ball. One thing for sure is that no one can say that Bowman didn't deserve the seat he has.

    Alex Bowman replacing Dale Jr in the 88 in 2016 was a turning point in his career, had it not been for that, who knows what his career would have looked like.

      Damn right Ron was a beast behind the wheel like Dale Sr. You just knew he was going to be upfront 👍 and wasn't a fan just being honest though

    if he so good why is hendrick going to 3 cars and no guarantee he will get the 48m personally i would puke if he did, some of these new drivers need to learn respect

      There’s no confirmation that they’re going to three cars next year. And he has learned respect. You think this kid who’s been beaten through the ringer doesnt know respect? And he actually is getting sponsors now so they probably are keeping Alex around.

    Alex has potential for at worst 1 championship win with how alex is rising I'd say he'd probably get 3 championships

  • @warieo
    @warieo 4 года назад

    Not that I dislike him and I'm sure he will get a few wins but watch and see he will be like Dale Jr. A win every now and again but won't get a championship guaranteed
