Helder is too greedy! XD It's quite weird to see that Azami deck didn't perform well today. Back then before cEDH was a thing, Azami was so goddamn annoying to play against. But I guess it's too slow for cEDH. Building up board, casting 6 mana commander, etc. Meanwhile Diogo kept on playing a 7-mana commander with just a single red mana. Yoshimaru - Jeska, while more consistent than Isshai - Jeska, has problem interacting and needs you to commit a lot of resources to pump Yoshi. That's what we see today. After killing Baal, Helder didn't have any interaction, so if David or Diogo followed up with any combo, Helder couldn't do anything. Things would be so different with Isshai. Isshai has a lot of interactions and Isshai doesn't require you to commit a lot to pump it. Nevertheless, Yoshi is a really strong aggro deck. But if you play Isshai, you could provide some tempo.
I have a kediss and sakishima deck that is just my original build without any fast mana and it is honestly a crazy combination when you add damage doubling effects. The multiplicattive scaling gets out of hand quickly. It kinda is a volron deck that kills everyone at the same time if not the person with commander damage last which is kinda funny. It'd be cool to see an optimized for CEDH version of the list
Because when you have 21 commander damage you die to State based actions being checked. And the way it works is: You are suppose to die to 21 commander damage, so Golden Throne comes in and takes the shot for you, putting you at 1 life. But the thing is that State based actions (SBA) will be checked again just after the trigger resolution and see you still have 21 commander damage marked on you so you once again die to it :)
Dargo gets 2 mana cheaper every time you sacrifice something in the turn. Once you get him down to costing just a single red, if you sacrifice him to Phyrexian altar the cost reduction from sacrificing an additional creature (Dargo) covers the commander tax increase and the red mana from altar covers the red pip that can't be reduced. It's Dargo's big trick: As long as you don't end the turn, he can outpace commander tax forever.
