This is a wonderful thing to read - I play D&D and I use a ton of background music in my games, and the whole reason I wrote the 'Battle Song' tracks was because I hoped people would use them for battle music in TTRPGs so I am very honoured and happy that you're planning to use this track at your table!! Yeah I'm thinking about the next track to try, but tbh none of the other Samurai songs grabbed me quite as hard as that riff from Archangel did (not saying they're bad or anything though)

I was planning to release it on iTunes/Spotify etc - even paid for artwork and everything - but basically my label (Distrokid) said they can't release a cover unless the original song has actually also been released - and since Archangel exists only inside the game and not as an actual song, I can't upload the cover legally, which is super annoying. I've written to CDPR to ask them to release Archangel, but they said no...so I guess maybe try writing them too, if you have time? If enough people ask then they might change their minds. I've written to them multiple times but it looks like they're not planning to release it. Maybe if enough people started demanding it, but I'm just one guy on the internet lol

I've actually been trying to chase this in the background, as I'd love to release it and was planning to (I even commissioned cover art) - however unfortunately, because the song has not been released to begin with, there is apparently no legal way to release a cover of it. I think the reason I can put it on RUclips is because my channel isn't monetised. My distro company can't help, and they've suggested I go to CDPR directly - I'll try, but I wouldn't get your hopes up as I'm literally the tiniest of RUclipsrs at this point and my clout is almost negative 😭
