Nah, disagree. Button bloat is not an issue, and ret has so low skill ceiling it hurts the players head (PvE). Spec tree's functionality, flexibility and variability is a problem. To your point though, making stormstrike build work so it would be a real contender to ele build is the solution for less buttons -build.
less button bloat. give enhance its own spenders besides lb and cl. get rid of ramp with dumb prim wave. there
and get rid of stupid dre

i need one or two less buttons to press as enhance. and i also want windfury to do actual damage paired with a maelstrom spender that is an melee ability (maybe make doomwinds a spender that is a souped up windfury on demand)

Elemental and Resto both have access to Ascendance AND DRE, why not us? Would it really break us to have both?
Yea + 25% haste buff on ascendance. That would be so amazing

While do i agree that it's reaally dumb & needs to change i wanted to focus on the bare bare minimum for enh to work!

Wishlist from a pvp perspective:
Range of strikes 15 yards
Flurry baseline
Doomwinds off the gcd
Astral shift usable while stunned, shorter cd and 2 charges like hunters now have
Squish all the lava lash talents to either 1 point nodes or put some of them together
Hailstorm should not be dependant of lava lash, just maeltrom spendage, so I can use it in a lightning build
If we could wish for bigger changes, make enhancement more of a earth and lightning centric theme instead of fire. So that earth spikes thing from elemental goes to us
Remove primordial wave
I believe I found a new build that seems to work pretty well for stormbringer....NO wolves build....hear me out because of rolling thunder you get free feral spirit wolves that boost nature damage for free, which means you can take all 3 capstones now. Get lava lash and the 2 point node after it to spread flame shocks then get pw capstone and dre capstone. Don't pick up feral wolves at all. You start by spreading flame shocks then pw into lightning bolt, then go into your rotation you will get tons of tempest procs and wolves for free and extra lightning damage from both sides of your tree
I don't think you can realistically pull that off, as the next tier set increases our wolves duration by 100%.
@keksune8508 I know, that's the best part every wolf you summon is 30 sec because of your tier. So again it's already a free capstone I was sustaining 3 nature wolves per pull and still had thoriums and pw it's elementalist build in a way with all 3 capstones

Actually Enhancement is doing well at the moment in the TWW beta testing. In the last week it scored in the top half of all dps against three different boss types. It did well in AoE, Cleave, and Single Target scenarios. Once they nerf the OP specs, Enhance should be in a great place.
Nothing in this video was about how much DMG enh does or doesn't do it's all about what they need to fix to make enhance able to build proper builds, tuning comes after!
But yes, enh kinda broken on beta but again not about nrs!
Great ideas with the 2 points down to 1. My only remaining issue is the scaling on storm builds. Elementalist build I feel is complete and perfect to play. However storm has 1 major issue and that is scaling. Ele scales with every stat while storm does not scale well with mastery. IMO they should just make stormstrike do STORMSTRIKE damage. Yeah stormstrike baseline would need a nerf to balance out the initial compensation but then it would actually scale through the expansion. The reset chance is not scaling... On that note the windfury proc chance on a late expansion shaman should also be higher. Thats all! I wish they would bring back glyph of ascendance too qq. Current ascendance looks like fucking shite!
enha will be sht in TWW and I will not even play it (not even as alt),... Main since tbc, started to go down the river with LL as our main dmg ability, and what is going to be in TWW made me completely choose another classes/specs
I would play storm build only IF they every mad stormstrike scale with mastery.... Just make it do stormstrike damage already

How about buff everything else up and not make you into a chain lightning spamming machine while trying to see how many wolves we can summon to juice our 3 button spam of chain lightning, crash lightning, and tempest once we get procs to summon another wolf to do more chain lightning damage in a loop....
the suggested changes in this video would solve that as you'd be able to play elementalist builds properly as both stormbringer & totemic.

@@alexis1156 at least stop basing enhance on primordial wave this isnt shadowlands any more its been 4 years of primordial wave and it looks like 2 more years to go thats 6 years of shadowlands primordial wave.

pwave is a way better ability than chain harvest could ever be, if anything what they should do is reduce or remove 2 talent points, and expand on what we have.
They need to rename/retheme primordial wave, but the interaction of it is cool and enhancey. IRL volcano eruptions attract lightning because of all the static/dust so theming it after that could match that it makes lightning hit flame shock targets
