Description: Jan halls logs through beautiful Southern Oregon, over the Cascade Mountains and up Highway 97 to Gilchrist, Oregon, in the Crest Log Truck.
love it . the sign going down hill (grade) sign . truck on sign tilted over. the driver says he can drive like that guy ! the kids and all where watching it . we all had a good laugh .thank you for great videos, more family oriented than the t.v. !
Sharp kw! I done some telecommunication work all through oregon..startin in Portland and worked our way down to coos bay. Bend 8s where I stayed a few weeks and the other towns we just went in ran 2 cables, n headed to the next one. I live in the hills of eastern ky and Oregon is a place I could sure relocate to.
I love that view downhill toward hwy 97. Hard to realize it is 21 miles to the stop sign. Was even more beautiful before they cut the trees back from the road.
Rough and ready sellin' the last of their big wood? Are they shutting down for good now? Those logs have down a fair bit of travelin' around the state!! Cheers!
I’ve gone on a couple rides with my dad in southern Oregon. When I was young probably 40 years ago. Bring back memories.

actually, the mountains in southern Oregon are not the cascades, they are the blues
The Blues range starts at Lagrand and ends somewhat at Pendleton In western Oregon.
@@smokeylovesfire1589 The Blue Mountains, La Grande and Pendleton are all in north- _eastern_ Oregon
