    This house is Casa Lauren and was owned by Pennington. It was sold to a corporation Miramar LLC in June of 2022 for 25 million and they are subdividing the 10 acres into homes. I don't think a "Narcos" ever owned this property. Great video, beautiful home.

I remember the house when it was in its glory. The garage had all black cars and some motorcycles/scooter. I don't remember any super nice cars, but like Lincoln Towncars and Navigators, or similar. The back of the garage is where the gym was, and from the gym you could see into the pool via a 1-way mirror. I remember chandeliers outside on the back porch. I never saw the inside of the house, except for the garage, but crazy how trashed it is now. Crazy

      It was sold again in June of 2022 for 25mil to a developer who plans on building a 33-unit community with a beach club. Gulf front with 270' of pristine beach and access to HW98! The land is worth millions on it's own and has a pending offer. House has been gutted, and was amazing 4-5 years ago (wine cellar was insane). Rentals fetch a pretty penny down there, and if redeveloped, will not look anything like it does now. Sad....

    Awesome but sad video-my husbands ex boss built this home (costed $50 million dollars) back when it was finished and furnished omg it was gorgeous trust me we’ve spent a couple of summers there (I felt like Cinderella in a castle when we stayed there) and to see it like this breaks my heart. When I showed my husband this video he’s in a state of disbelief cause he helped to build this place and to see it in ruins is just mind blowing 😢 His ex boss was an oil man-he drove Mercedes, Jaguars, and Range Rovers (nothing too major but as you’ve said in your video a normal person dreams of having a place like this) Thanks for sharing this video with us, God bless 🙏😊

    I don't think it's been trashed, but rather that the person who bought it (2020) planned to renovate it for his family, hence why there is no kitchen cabinets etc. The room with wood cabinet backing on to marble fire stack used to house wine floor to ceiling. Or at least that's what it looks like in other on line photos. Upon realising that it was way over his head to take it on, he chose to resell. It will now be demolished and new homes built on the plot each with own private pools etc.

    My question has always been, there are SO MANY people in this world that have millions upon millions of dollars that COULD afford to buy this place and restore it. Why are places like this left abandoned? Why doesn't someone buy and restore it? Instead of leaving it sit in ruins and rot? It STILL looks like it's in good enough condition to where it wouldn't cost a large fortune to restore. (considering the price of the place and considering the person buying it has OVER $100,000,000. Something like this would be a drop in the bucket for them.

      @lw9908 2 года назад

      @@RUclipsPremiumMem Some people enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together. So why wouldn't they? I think the REAL question is, why were these places abandoned to begin with? Why aren't they just torn down? Why do we leave them standing? Does someone still own the property? Is that why? So many unanswered questions of WHY these places are left to decay and not restored, rebuilt or torn down and repurposed.

    The blown out door makes me, think it could have been a narco house. But it does look like a hurricane could have done most damage. The only thing that throws me off is the roof from outside looks intact and still looks good. A hurricane would have destroyed it completely or at least had massive damaged. Looks like it is probably Gulf Shores, Alabama or close to it. I wouldn't doubt a Louisiana Oil family owned it. Squatters could have damaged it more. What a terrible waste!

    Gorgeous site!!! Definitely built to impress. If I was to reside there I'd feel like I was living in a museum or some such. If it was cartel, or something like that, could some of the destruction be from having a raid there? I can't even imagine a 25 car garage or having 25 cars!!! I would think there would be guards or a security force of some kind - if you have $$$$ to build that you might have other valuables.
