Got ADHD? Feel disorganized? Maybe you aren't as disorganized as you think. In this video, ADHD coach Jeff Copper (www.digcoaching.com) shares an example of finding a system within what feels like chaos. Jeff shares a real example of an individual he worked with who didn't feel she had a system. After mapping out her existing system, we began to understand that she had a system that actually was very efficient, why the system was the way it was, and why all other organizational systems didn't work for her. If you want to understand what's going on, especially in the realm of ADHD and organization or disorganization, you’ll want to watch this video.

Hi. Thank you for this information. Trying to get systems in place as well. This is a wonderful strategy for many different types of careers and systems for the home. As you were talking about the colors... lightbulb went off. Keep the same color of post it’s for all, just add a color star sticker, different styles of pictures, or a highlighter color block somewhere on the side of the post it. Have the color or stickers be designated...one for particular area... the stage of buying or selling.
    • Buyer-Call in looking for home - orange
    • pulled list and show homes- yellow
    • contract sign - blue
    • inspections, etc. - hot pink
    • closing date - draw red star or whatever code to put on post it.
Also, buy good sticky post it notes. They are not the same. Take a picture maybe once every so often... just in case one loosens and decides to go hang out with the other piles of to- do’s...😀
Take care to all of you. Thank you for the information.

(First. I'm not asking for your help, I just want to share my story, because your timing is excellent and so perfect for me. 🙃 Well, for all of us I imagine)
I have the kids at home because of Corona. It is their second week at home and they are 8, 10 and 11 but all three of them have tougher assignments at school usually for extra stimuli. )
So. They are doing their schoolwork at home. But for my adhd-brain their different schedules are almost too much to handle. Not only have the different teachers all different schedules and ways to go about them. (One structured by time, the other as suggestions in a storylike letter)
All their workpages are messed up. I have a pretty working system now, it took me a while, but I have to admit some of that time was spend crying in pure panic. (Upstairs, away from the kids. I called my husband. He was a sweetheart.)
I won't ask for a different workstyle from the teachers, because they are all doing their very best for all their different students in this chaotic time and I love them for that, but my brain is just fried. I just have to give it time.....
Anyway. Your video's are a true gift. They've helped me a lot, thank you for that.
