    Thanks for filming the service review, it looks much easier to service than a Deere, glad it worked out good for you. That looked as easy as servicing my Kubota mini.

    Brotherly advice, be careful next time leaving the refill cap completely off especially in the woods, u don’t want any flying debris or leaves falling into the valve cover. I would keep the engine cap on it slightly slanted to allow air bleeding while obstructing any debris from falling in. Used Differential oil is like gold, I always brush it on slightly rusted metal to keeping it from further rusting.

      I should've covered the oil fill port. Yeah that differential oil seems to last forever and soaks in stuff.

      100%. I was a field tech for a minute or two and I’d cringe seeing the cap sitting off to the side. My territory was usually dry and dusty with plenty of wind.

      @@PurpleNovember he’s a good man, it happens to the best of us, he’s very smart man got caught up in taping the video. For a machine operator man he’s very knowledgeable about mechanical stuff. The more u watch his videos the more u respect what the guy does. He earned my respect and I’m a mechanical engineer, I actually design many automotive parts.

    Dang, 500hrs already. Seems like I just showed ya how to run it not long ago. Time flies lol. Tristar got jealous it looks like, got him a 313. Copy cat lol. Good to see it’s got some hours on it though, means yer working, nothing wrong with that!

    Great video Lindsey, very informative. I would recommend if you ever want to have treated posts for fences etc that will last forever save your waste oils in a 30 gal barrel. Then you soak the posts for at least a couple months. We did that a lot on the ranch and those posts are still good even now. That was in the early 90s.

    Thanks for filming that. I haven't even gotten to the 500 hour service on my KX-057. Now that I have a bush hog for it I think I will put hours on it at a faster rate.

    Sure hope Sam @ TriStar Diggin' watches this.😂 You know he may get his mechanic do his service. That way to many tools for him to use.🤣
    Lindsey I hope we're not to hard on our buddy Sam.
    They make things to easy on the equipment nowadays. I would have been covered in diesel and oil 40 years ago servicing the equipment. But I was always good about laying down on the job.😂

      🤣🤣 ole same got enough tools to service a rocket ship. They have definitely made things easier on the new stuff. Almost to easy. I kept saying to myself "I know I'm forgetting something"

      I do have a bunch of tool I just don't know how to use them...

      @@tristardiggin Sam it did look like Lindsey has the process down. It would take me 45min just to get my body up out of my recliner.😂 I to have lots of tools but I forgot how to use them. Can't wait to see the D5 running with the upgrades.

    I wish you’d switch over to a Volvo machine. Cat, in my opinion just doesn’t live up to its name anymore. I watched the video with the skid steer problems. Once again a Cat machine. I’d sell it too and change over to a tach machine. Those are just my opinions. Oh, I’d also like to see you get a haul truck. That would be a plus to your already great company. Keep the video’s coming.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎

      If there was a Volvo dealer closer to me, I'd probably be sitting in one. The closest one is about 2.5 hours away. I'd like to try a tach skid steer also. A haul truck is on my radar for the next piece of equipment. I need one bad.

    You are smart to use the Cat filters!..don’t ever use anything else and you will be fine!…the Cat oil is super expensive but it really good oil…that being said so are most of the heavy duty oils out there but if you watch the sales you can always find Rotella or Dlevac on special!..

      So far Cat filters have been the cheapest to buy. I've used Rotella for years. Seems to be good stuff

      @@smithworx1091 I’ve been using T4 in my Ram 5500 since new in 2010 and no issues..before that it was Esso XD3 which is now Mobile 1…I just bought a shit ton of T5 on sale so I’m gonna try that!…can’t really go wrong with Rotella!..although I ran it in my Kobelco and it didn’t like it one bit!!..engine sounded raspy and it burned oil…switched it to Mobile 1 Delvac and the engine ran completely different and burned no oil…I can only suspect that it ran Mobil before I got it and then I switched it up and hurt its feelings…🤷🏻‍♂️

      I did. That filter and the engine filter were pretty clean. I guess because it hasn't gotten dusty yet.

      Yeah tractor filters are stupid expensive! I’ve noticed OEM tractor filters going up like crazy. Fuel filter for my little 60hp Massey is about $130. Kubota Deere TYM…all the same way from what I’ve seen.
