How in the hell have you missed seeing them since '85? I mean it was hard to always know who was coming through town but dang man, you missed the golden years to say the least.

@@mattdad8429 I think you’re remembering the Black Album stage being waaay bigger than it was. Back on that tour in ‘91/‘92 they were playing 12-15k seat arenas. This tour they’re playing 70-100k seat stadiums. The original snake pit held like 75-100 people, the new one holds 800-1000.

I'm glad they're also playing some of their lesser known songs more often nowadays (it was a real treat that they included Trapped under Ice and Dirty Window in their setlists last year)
For the tik tok casual shit music ingester, people actually playing music well is foreign to them, almost like it’s not possible. Maybe these kids will figure it out someday… I’m just glad that I got to grow up in the 80’s with the most epic band in history…
Wake up brah....they are playing in some of the biggest arenas in the world...makes sense to push the envelope and make it so the band can face you no matter where you are

What a treat this set was. Everything from new to old sounding awesome.

It's definitely in the ballpark of the black album tour stage. I think that one had this beat, but the snakepit certainly seems bigger on this tour.
