He was played by Treat Williams in the movie 12 Might Orphans if you've ever seen that. That circle is called Founders Plaza. Its the guys who donated the $$ for the stadium. Most of them big oil money. The Addison Clark was one of the founders of TCU. The big donor didn't really want something to honor him, so he had the school put up a monument to Addison Clark.
