Before my step-father passed away, he gave me a small boat and a launching trolley. We already have a bigger boat, so realistically it will never be used by us. It is currently at Gorran Haven. If you want it, you are welcome to it for free, but you will have to come and collect it......... if you are interested, let me know and we can sort it out. It is about 12ft long, so a bit bigger than what you had previously. You will need a trailer as the launching trolley doesn't have a hitch for towing. I haven't checked it for quite a while, but if you are interested, I can pop down over the weekend to make sure that it is all there.
I've just looked at the Radio Cornwall X (Twitter) feed, and no mention of this on there, so have asked them & Radio Devon to put up a post about it. BBC Cornwall have got 75K followers & BBC Devon over 70K.
I was on the beach from 2.30 to 4 on Thursday afternoon and both boats were safely tied up against the wall. The high tide was 15 metres below your boats, the night tide was not meant to be any higher so I can't see it being washed away. I reckon some buggers nicked it or pushed it into the sea on purpose, has the Bay got any security camera or any cams in the square that may have seen someone going onto the beach at night.
Hi Ants dad here. we checked them Thursday eve too. just there was a huge unexpected pressure drop and it meant on Friday morning the tides were over 600mm higher than expected. Both boats were secure tho as you say. Heard they have been recovered on the grape vine but wont find out till the morning. More adventures for Young Antony and his Vlogs tho. Thanks for comments
I went out on my boat today, I at some crab pots out and Had a good look around even went up to Torquay but couldn’t see your boat but I’ll go out again tomorrow have a look mate
Oh Dear. Not good News Ant. Any foul play suspected, or just the waves? Hope the boats turns up, but if it was spotted 2 miles offshore I fear you will be lucky to find it. Best wishes and hope you find it. 👍👍

I hope you find them undamaged and he can get back to what he loves doing, all the best, I really enjoy his attitude to fishing, reminds me of Freddie Finnemore and David Steinhausen in the 70's, they only wanted to fish all the time.
Best of luck to you, it's nice to see someone not afraid of hard work, you're the type of fisherman the industry
needs to see.
