IK im a bit late but: to automatically draw the collision shapes in Godot you select a Sprite2D node and iirc click those three dots in the toolbar. Then there is an option in the list where you can turn the sprite into a CollisionPolygon2D ;)
The shooting and sticking mechanic looks really well done and SO satisfying. Its awesome that you were able to make such a compelling mechanic in just 48 hours!

What’s really funny is that the concept of launching yourself with a gun reminds me of a game made specifically to show ways games try and reduce the chance of rage… so the opposite of this game.
Next time you wanna make a game like this i recommend making a bunch of different items with collisions already attached to each one and then scatter them around everywhere for the map

You should 100% percent add cosmetics if you plan on making this into a real game, like a purchased character pack, and maybe even add some free cosmetics too!

If you see a channel with a 1m view video and the rest are less than 10k views, try to find the difference and figure out why that one blew up. I try turning my devlog into a story that’s easy for a typical person to understand (but I still have a lot to improve on). You’ll have a much larger audience if you focus on entertaining the typical person rather than other developers. Also, developers are typically already stretched thin by all that goes into it so they’re probably not watching a ton of entertainment videos about making games.

Idk if you'd consider it because you wouldn't be able to have organic shapes but maybe you could use the 2D tileset feature in godot to speed up the level creation and collision creation

You should make it so where the snail can only reload on the sticky side. This RNG should be more frustrating.
rename it to 'Shotsnail' and have a snail in the process of climbing up the 'l' but fails every time
Instead of particles for the snail sticking it should be slime residue like Super Meat Boy jumping
