They are half the price of grocery stores but overall are cheaper than the smaller dollar tree packs when you factor price per pod. I tend to buy 4-5 packs of those at a time just because its a hell of a deal.

I clean my greens with salt because it naturally does that and if there are any bugs lingering the salt kills them and helps clean the grit off the greens.
You fill a very clean sink with cool water and pour about 4 tablespoons of salt in water and let the greens soak, rinse and repeat about 4 times until water is clear. Usually I cook about 5 bunches of greens of choice.

Don't mean to be insulting...Just had a bit of trouble hearing you at times. Love the idea of the dollar stores you can find some great things there..I go crazy when I go there. Thanks for watching! Making collard greens are extremely easy. The most important thing is the clean them properly to remove any dirt, grit and lingering little pest. You may find a lady bug here or there! The second important thing is seasoning them to you taste! Some people use smoked meat of there choice or just spices.
I really just focus on some of the frozen veggies and some of the seasonings when I shop at Dollar Tree. I mainly purchase cleaning products, paper towels,and tissue.
