Like it or not, Butch Hartman being held back by Nickelodeon's corporate standards is what kept his image clean and likeable for the longest time. Once let off that leash, it was only a matter of time before he ran himself to the ground in pursuing his religious agenda.
I always say it, but I think every creative person needs some kind of wrangler that can keep them in check before they turn their work into shit. That wrangler can be their audience, editor, or just some randos on the internet leaving comments on your content, just someone with an outside perspective on things. Also, the arrogant artist will never succeed since you need to be open to critique to grow.
I never really considered how true that is. These big channels are great at sweeping bad shit under the rug. I guess all these assholes will one day leave that bubble and won't have a HR department of dozens of people to tell you to shut the fuck up and that's when you see who they really are
Jesus Christ, just how self-absorbed do you have to be to call people selfish for having the audacity to not immediately overcome their emotional issues and change their entire way of life for your comfort?
Butch hasn't even got the meaning of introversion correct... Introverts are recharged mentally by relaxing on their own, while extroverts find being with others is what recharges them. Some people like chilling with books and some people like partying. Some like a bit of both. A lot of introverts are shy and prefer their own company, but just as many are very social! Just in small doses.
Also the idea that being an introvert is that you're inherently selfish. Pretty sure there are tons of extroverts out there who are more selfish than an introvert could ever hope to be, at least if celebrities are anything to go by.
The way I’ve heard it, highly introverted people have their default level of stimulation tend high, so they’re fine by themselves for a while but quickly get overwhelmed in social situations, while highly extroverted people default to a lower level, so they get bored without social stimulation but thrive in social contexts where they can get their fill.
Ya know what's great about you, Dan? When it comes to something like mental health, which is a really serious issue for a lot of people & not something you've personally experienced, you: 1. IMMEDIATELY say that you don't think you are qualified to give anyone medical advice on the topic 2. Give a point of view which is based off of scientific evidence and research done by specialists & that isn't way off topic from what's being discussed - just a basic statement that current research does not agree with Butch's stated solution 3. Tell people who are facing serious mental health issues to go get ACTUAL, non-Butch Hartman approved help without making it about you, or advertising a product Thank you. You might not be a mental health expert, or someone who's faced mental health issues, but this particular person with mental health issues strongly approves of your coverage. You rock. Wish more RUclipsrs were willing to do the same.
I will say that while he is not qualified to give medical advice and he doesn't suffer through these issues, the fact that he did his own research and found credible sources on the matter makes him way more reliable that Butch Hartmann has ever been.
This is the most relevant and uniquely gratifying comment I've come across in quite possibly, years. 1) Agree entirely. 2) Big thanks to Slope, big thanks to you - the world could use more humans cut from this cloth 👍
I only do 2 and 3, because again, you don't have to be Carl Jung to be critical of how people hide behind their mental ailments to rationalise their own sociopathy (Look at Butch and especially John K. for shit's sake!). Furthermore, 2 and 3 are never, EVER guarantees for people improving themselves. As the best way to improve oneself and the ONLY person capable of doing that is the affected individual. Qualified professionals can only do so much, however, it is never their job to change your mind, only you can do that and only YOU hold the responsibility and capability to apply yourself and WORK with them. I've seen numerous examples of people who needed help, slap it away when it's given to them. Those individuals just refuse to help themselves out of a jam and are beyond that very help they actually and desperately need, but cynical biased me concludes that they're lost causes and I leave them in the cold wastes. Again, I'm not a professional, however, you don't need to be a professional to see who is willing to work with you and who isn't willing to work with you.
@@nicwelch conversion therapy usually refers to the "therapy" practice of making LGBTQ+ people into heterosexual cisgender people. Conversion therapy is known for being incredibly harmful both physically and mentally, some even comparing it to torture. They treat any sexuality that isn't heterosexual and any gender that isn't cisgender as a mental illness that needs to be "fixed". This, of course, is mostly a summary and I would suggest you do your own research on this if you haven't done so already.
Fucking hell man, years ago mental illeness wasn't even considered a real thing anyway, so many people back then suffered in silence sadly, I don't think it's very Christian to do these kind if statements Butch
The problem is him thinking he's doing the right thing is making depression and suicidal thoughts even worse it's not just something everyone can get over
It requires a heaping amount of insensitivity coupled with a robust superiority complex to think "Oh, it's just that no one has told them to get over it yet."
It’s like people are telling you that you WANT to feel awful, not be able to live up to even the lowest potential because psychiatry here just drugs you. If you say that you want therapy then you’re going to get more and more antidepressants, until they start you on antipsychotics because you’re just not normal. For fifteen years until finally a psychiatrist went oh no, that’s NOT how you treat severe childhood trauma and trust me, I didn’t want that nor do I want anyone else to go trough it. Unfortunately a lot of children still do. I’m also an introvert and he really has no idea what an introvert is, sure I might clam up when my social battery is empty, but I’m closer to ambivert since I can act extroverted. Still very much prefer one on one or smaller groups when socialising, and people that understand that alone time isn’t lonely time but battery charging with a single player game. I mean you can definitely see my introversion in the I don’t play multiplayer games unless it’s when they are in the same room. Family playing Jackbox during Christmas for example 😂 It’s definitely not refusing to talk to people, that’s either being extremely shy or having social anxiety (phobia) and you can’t “just stop” being an introvert either. I always have been and I’ve had to be around a lot of people constantly for weeks (Christian camps for the entire family ironically 🙄) at a time and towards the end I was so exhausted I just hid from people since it was like I couldn’t breathe. No privacy whatsoever, apart from toilets and it’s not like you can stay there for hours or uh… people get suspicious 🤨 but they understood that (better than my parents) and let me sit to the side on my own reading rather than force me to participate in the fun group activities. My parents are bad Christians in that they seem to forget that they’re supposed to love, not hate, way too often, but I know they’re not all narrow minded. I mean obviously they don’t see hating pretty much everything different from the Christian values as them breaking them, nooo… did we even go to the same camps together because that’s not what they preached 🤨 I just need alone time and thus prefer solitary activities when relaxing during the weekend, you might occasionally find me at a party but only for a short while before the sheer amount of people make me exhausted even though I don’t talk to everyone so eh idk 🤷♀️
Youre right, hes not. Hes talking to everyone watching the vid. And its a very arrogant statement to make. Like OP he didnt create my childhood either. I had never heard of him or heard of the shows he was a part of until I watched this kickscammer vid.
.... it’s been such a long time since I heard anyone mentioned Doraemon... ah man, what happened to Doraemon? But still, last time I check, he didn’t made Doraemon, Conan the Detective NOR Rurouni Kenshin (not the live action one, ew)
Yeah, he created my childhood cartoons. He drew each frame by hand, wrote the script, built the studio, madd the recording booth, marketed them on TV, did voice acting, edited the show, built and sold the merchandising, made the VHS and DVDs, he brought me the television I watch the show on all by himself. Lies. There are no great men in history. Only the labour of groups of individuals.
Being introverted is not an affliction. I'm an introvert myself and I've never felt like I needed help. I simply mind my own business and have no burning desire to socialize unless I need to. Not being able to "connect" with people does not make me unstable. I think the pandemic has especially shown that being an introvert is not necessarily a disadvantage.
That's a mindset that stems from extroverts thinking there's something "wrong" or "broken" about introverts and needs to be fixed. As an introvert myself who is most definitely mentally healthy and emotionally stable, I concur that the idea that we're broken and in need of fixing is completely wrong.
Someone said in another comment that introverts are just those who can relax and "recharge" by themselves where extroverts are those who relax more easily in a crowd or surrounded by friends. By that description I think most people are introverts. Me included. From that I gotta say, I feel like I got a weight on my shoulders while talking to others and in public, not always but most times. I like to run off to my room and home to relax. I'm not sick or need help, I don't need 15 people following me talking about God constantly, nor do I need a cartoonist telling me about how I can't judge him for overtime and hard work... (Not shitting on people for being a cartoonist, I don't like someone writing off someone else's hardwork like it's nothing). To those reading, I hope you have a good day. No matter how you choose to spend it
And that's just it he had no problem deceiving people that one was not the other. He essentially lied by either not answering people's questions or giving them very deceptive answers. But to be honest getting anything close to what he was promising going for the money he actually got was ridiculous to begin with. If you've seen the kind of money that places like Netflix, Amazon and Hulu not to mention Disney+ spend on their shows on a yearly basis you'd know this thing had no chance.
The thing is, this isn’t even his first forte to this type thing. He already tried the noog network or something similar to that. I think the one actual hit got to his head, and that’s it. It’s such a shame this happened listened to his speech bubble podcast. He was a bit annoying, but he had good guests on it. But once he dropped one too many bible quotes in his interviews I got a bit suspicious. And him constantly name dropping Seth McFarlane because they worked briefly together in the 90s, also weird as that’s just a hypocritical thing considering the opposing political views and content they create.
@@sloppynyuszi I mean I'll give him credit for his past success but other than that Hartman is just a slimeball. I despise his tactics that he used here to fool people into thinking he was anything other than a scary as hell Evangelical cult member. A person that can put on that much of a persona has to be a bit of a psychopath too..
Yeah if he wanted to fund a Christian based service more power to him, but with Oaxis he never mentioned this, he said he wanted to create a simple family friendly platform, he lies and took money from people who thought they were funding a platform for his new shows and at the end of the day nothing came up.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu its because christianity relies on being sneaky and oppressive.. lets face it, if people wrent indoctrinated into christianity from birth it'd have died centuries ago
Let me say this, Butch Hartman's art-style is terrible imo. When his wife thinks that autism is cureable is really laughable because I have high-functional autism and christian since my teenage years: You can't cure autism because it's another type of hardware, another type of thinking machine. It's like having a different OS or another gaming console, just accept that autism is there. And no: Butch Hartman didn't create my childhood, Swedish Television did!!
I agree, my extended family is hard baptiste (southern Christianity) and i was born with aspergers. I couldn't even get tested until my aunt actually helped me get help and was given medicine to help along with my other illnesses
So Butch wants us to not be introverts, but doesn’t want us to communicate when we need help with mental/emotional issues? Also, your use of Link to the Past music was masterful.
Waitwaitwait. If this guy is such a devoutly fundamentalist Christian, where on earth is Danny Phantom coming from? It's the polar opposite of what Hartman now claims he wants to produce. Did he only just recently find God?
I cant remember exactly what it was but he did say something claiming it actually was christain using some stretchy logic. Maybe someone else can come along and explain what it was but maybe you could easily look it up.
Eh he came out after the Danny Phantom serious claiming to be a ''born again Christian '' and he also has ties to a rather nasty branch of Christanity from the church he said he was a part of and attended for awhile well had turned out to be more a cult using Christianity as a disguise granted he could have left before it was a thing happening but unsure.. What I know for sure is he has on his channel and social media claiming things that was never part of the canon of the cartoon as fact and looking into advents and writing well another writer that was part of the show was keeping a O.G vision alive but after the guy quick and no one was challenging Hartman the writing become more vague and less actual ghosts and more so concepts made physical form for a lack of a better way to put it
As an old school Danny Phantom fan(13-15 when it first came out), I can tell ya that he was always a piece of work, and that's putting it mildly. Even before his born-again phase, he was hated by a sub-section of fans for being a blatant homophobe on the old message boards he ran, he still tended to rip off artists and ideas from artists and basically accused anyone who disagreed with his ideals of being a pedophile. This was the reason for the rise of the True-Fan(homophobic hateful types who agreed with Butch) vs Anti-Fan(An adopted name that he came up with, basically a ragtag group fused of people he hated including pro-LGBT folks, Rule 34 artists, furries, 4chan trolls, fanfic writers, eta) internet war. Danny Phantom came from the popularity of Harry Potter and was a completely different show when pitched. It was altered during it's initial production phase into what it is, but he never liked the ghosts being actual ghosts, and you can see the results of that in season 3 where they dialed it back big time. We knew even back then that it was Steve Marmel to thank for the quality of the show, not Butch, and it's pretty clear from several of his notes and written thoughts over the years that Marmel is responsible for much of the background lore in the show.
"I'm going to be the face. Like Walt Disney was for his studio" Who doesn't love a massive ego when considering if they should back a project with their hard earned cash.
Walt Disney didn't start out buying a theater chain or forming a company to distribute his short films. He started first with the films and found RKO Films, Universal, and others to handle that side of things. This charlatan has things backwards.
The moment you hear that he only needed 250K to create a streaming platform from the ground up, create and license content, with the budget of a indie short movie come on, it's like they say, "if it sounds too good to be true, is because it is".
I can't take the guy seriously anymore, after he copied a Anime image from another artist for an overpriced commission and defended himself by saying he did not copy it, when it was obvious. Edit: ah, the Attack on Titan thing is on there.
OK, the husband and wife wondering how Butch got in their house did remind of those parody commercials from Sheep in the Big City and that got a chuckle out of me.
A mental wreck that I am, clinically, not self-diagnosed, I must say that you gave good advice, don't worry about it. Opening up, looking for professional help is an all-important first step. It took me too long to even start on the path of mending my mental health, and I wish I listened to such advice earlier. With my perception skewed, I didn't realize the risks I was taking, it could've ended badly and it did kinda snowball out of control before I was forced to do something about it. It could've also ended better if I didn't just sit there, wishing for my troubles to go away like a chump.
Hey Magerama :) thank you for sharing your perspective and please, don't call yourself a chump for not getting help sooner! One of the worst parts of struggling with mental health is that all the "right" things to do feel the hardest, it takes a lot of internal strength to ask for the help and to also keep engaging with it while your mind is struggling. You did a great thing for yourself and I wish you every success on your recovery journey 🙂
The only Kickstarter I have ever backed was Infinity for GameBoy Color. Only because it's the original devs working on the game and they continously update and are transparent with everything. Even updating us on when the rights were finally purchased with the Kickstarter money, putting up a discord server, sending out backer kits, etc. I NEVER would back any kickstarter, but these guys' transparency really convinced me to trust them.
Sometimes that is the only place one gets a chance to relax, and if you get more chances than that, it is where you decide that it is time to unwind for the day and do stuff you want while nature takes its course
Video proper starts at 4:06 I know people liked FOP, but his shows were so unremarkable compared to Invader Zim, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Samurai Jack, Spongebob and Megas XLR. I don't know how he kept getting stuff commissioned for so long.
Danny Phantom and Fairly Odd parents were some of the best cartoons of their time. And he created the art style for them in a pop art comic book style that is very unique.
In my opinion FOP fell from grace the moment they added the baby, looking back at IZ as recent as a couple of years ago, it certainly aged well, it's unique and still is. Jack got continued and it deserved to be, so that was cool. Later seasons of Sponge Bob are.. Questionable. "A Pal For Gary" pretty much sums up eveything, that episode is just, wrong, really wrong
I've seen the coverage of this. Honestly this exposed what Butch truly is. Not to mention he's a hack nowadays and I'm perfectly fine with Nickelodeon firing him
@@NeedyForMusic I'm not entirely sure but i think it might have been a mutual decision. There's a video of him explaining why he left Nickelodeon though
I'm just amazed that there were backers who believed anyone could run a new streaming service with only $250k. That won't even cover your cloud costs for a few weeks. Or the cost of a single engineer.
As a introvert I don't want people to try and figure me out I just enjoy small conversations that I can try and start yet shut up fast when I realize I can't hold jack for a conversation.
Just because the statistics for mental health issues weren't there 'back in the day' does NOT mean they didn't exist. Today these issues are more commonly discussed. Mental issues have many outpatient options that would have been treated with hospitalization ages ago. He is playing with math, adding things up without all the variables in place.
For real! I just got diagnosed adhd this year as an adult this year. Being a woman we are underdiagnosed and growing up i was just always hearing that i am "an airhead/doesnt care enough/just try harder" I can get on stimulants and they help immensely but there is no cure. However it legit turned my life around as I went from a bad spiral to being able to function and move foreward again! Butch seems lile a truly insane person who was only held back by nickolodeon before.
@@jewels3846 Congrats to you for your diagnosis, and the beginning of an improvement in your life. Hope things continue to improve [or at least plateau at a decent place]
I just use the statistics of lefthandedness regarding stuff like mental illness identification, LGBTQ identification, etc. And apparently there was such a thing as left-handed conversion therapy of some sorts. I have an uncle who believes he used to be left-handed but was forced to use his right hand by teachers and such.
The thing that people like Butch just don’t understand is that everyone else is not you. They most likely cannot think or live like you. It’s as stupid as a chicken telling a horse to just lay some eggs.
Welcome to the basic concept of Christian Fundamentalism. The entire thing is based on the idea of "We know better than you and will will force you to see things our way, whether you like it or not. Burn in hell if you are not like us."
I’m not sure about anyone else but doesn’t the Oaxis logo look somewhat tone-deaf to them? Their content may be safe and kid friendly, but the design and colors of the logo say “bold and shocking”. It looks more like something for sensational tabloid format news.
I've definitely enjoyed the fallout and basically the complete and utter banishment the man has gotten since this all came down. Pride cometh before a fall Mr. Hartman. This was a long time coming and it definitely felt satisfying, what a complete and utter turd.
I grew up in the late 80s and early 90s when there was a channel literally called “The Family Channel”. I watched the shit out of it and my parents did not. My mom didn’t watch TV at all and the only TV my sister and I watched with my dad were shows like Star Trek TNG, Rescue 911 and old Nick At Nite shows like Dragnet, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and the George Reeves Superman. I think once households started having more than 1 TV, the days of families huddled around watching stuff together were mostly over. Butch’s dream to bring back that idea only really exists amongst paranoid religious types that wouldn’t let their kids watch GI Joe or Ninja Turtles. I had a friend like that growing up. He was only allowed to watch PBS. It was lame.
It's as big an illusion as bringing jobs back from China. In theory it seems doable but what it basically means is slave labor. The only time people I think still all get around and the same TV is if you're watching a movie or something. I think almost everybody just goes off and watches whatever they want on their tablet or phone or whatever. These people that think they can somehow turn back the clock to the "good old days" is so hilarious though.
I'm in the same age group as you and I was down with The Family Channel from the little I remember, they had some decent cartoons. But yeah from the ages of like 6 to 13 I was major into Nick At Night watching the stuff my parents grew up with. Getting major nostalgia thinking back on that.
"Hi I'm butch hartman and I made your child hood" Me: I'm sorry are you Stan Lee? Shigeru Miamoto? Masahiro Sakurai? Satori Tagiri? No? I never been a nick kid anyway.
stan lee is just as scummy as Butch, and the fact you still use the racist First Name Last Name for respected Japanese people, means you are kinda racist. if you really respected them, you'd give them the respect of putting their names in the right order.
Steven Silver is actually more responsible for the shows Butch worked on. Seriously when you compare their current commissions/portfolios you can see who had a real influence on Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents. Butch was just the idea/pitch guy, word from behind the scenes says he wasn’t as involved as he claims, the writers often didn’t want him too involved with writing because his comedy was pretty weak.
@@dimsumboy22, It’s just NAMES, that doesn’t mean anything about racism or anything in any capacity Japanese name structure goes to family/surname to last/lower name, but here’s the thing, although it is an impolite way to swap them... nobody fucking cares
I don't know what's worse: Having a Christian Netflix without mentioning the Christian themes, or spending a few hundred bucks for his autograph with free drawings that are traced off someone else's.
I am SOOOOO looking forward to the AnimeTube episode. As someone who was there to watch it crash and burn from day one, you have NO IDEA what you're in for. Be sure to bring your popcorn.
On the surface, a family program studio isn't a bad idea. It calls back to the days of old Doctor Who where a families would sit together and watch a decently made program with occasionally heavy themes. Sadly, this wasn't one of them
I remember Butch saying, "Hi, I created your childhood." ...Maybe for others, but that honor for me goes to Don Bluth, Tad Stones, and Matt Groening. Also, Bluth's Kickstarter for Dragon's Lair I think would be an interesting video to consider going over-- I haven't heard anything about the Dragon's Lair thing for a long time.
Heck yeah, Don Bluth! My sister and I adored his stuff as kids. We had some Disney too, we had a pretty good selection overall. I didn’t watch any of Hartmans stuff until I was older, and while Fairly Odd Parents was cool…that’s about it. After watching this vid- I straight up wanted to throw a shoe at Butch. He’s an egotistical, narcissistic guy with his head stuck up his bum. (From what I’ve seen so far…)
Say what you will about John K’s Cans without labels Kickstarter , at the very least he delivered on the project he promised(despite the rather mediocre quality ) and didn’t hide what it actually was once the said campaign was finished.
And frankly, at least with John K it's someone who has a history of being absolutely terrible with deadlines. Other than being famously fired from Ren and Stimpy partially for that reason and having the show continue on with the rest of the staff, none of his shows lasted a full season, that is if he even sold one at all. Hell, even the Mighty Mouse cartoon he worked on with Bakshi had like 4 clip shows in the first season for budget and production issues. 2 of them being lame "music videos" comprised of old Terrytoon cartoon footage.
@@mightyfilm I mean, it was pretty common knowledge John was terrible with his work history and sexual abuse allegations so it wasn't that much of a surprise when his kickstarter had issues. This shit with Butch is just a huge dumpster fire of issues stemming from religious bullshit and narcissism
Yeah but I think John K actually released Cans without Labels to cover up all the controversies, but yeah at least after years he did it, with Butch Hartman I'm not sure if we will ever see a working Oaxis website
14:43 I've been a Christian since I was 12 (I'm 39 now) and I've never heard of that until right now. None of the Bibles I've read have ever said anything remotely like that, and in fact, my understanding is that things will get worse for Christians before Jesus returns, not better and that Jesus will return when it's least expected, "like a thief in the night". The verses I'm aware of that come vaguely close to saying anything of that nature are the ones telling believers to go spread the Gospel to every nation, tribe and person on the face of the Earth before Jesus returns, but his return does not seem _dependent_ on that happening, it's more of an optional side quest. Nothing I've read in the Bible even suggests that anything humanity can do will influence or change when Jesus returns as not even Jesus knows the day or time of that event.
23:26 Ohhhh... I get it now. They're grossly misinterpreting an Old Testament instruction from God to Joshua. That particular verse was Joshua instructing the Hebrew soldiers to prepare to invade and take possession of the land that would become ancient Israel after the death of Moses. Jesus' teachings and instructions for spreading the Gospel were vastly different and oftentimes the opposite of what was instructed to the Hebrews for claiming a homeland of their own. No wonder I've never heard of that particular doctrine - it's wrong on a Biblical level and batshit crazy on a societal level. You're absolutely right, DJ Slopes, that kind of thing isn't a religious sect or denomination, it's a cult using the framework of an established religion to disguise itself.
Why is it selfish for an introverted person to not want to talk to people, but not selfish for an extrovert to force their talkative personalities on people who don't want to talk? (and yes I know that's not how introversion or extroversion actually works). It's sad because Butch actually DOES make good points on occasion - like that it's difficult to be showrunner if you're uncomfortable talking and sharing your opinion, or one that wasn't in this video he basically said "I think there's always been bad cartoons, it's just that the bad ones today seem REALLY bad" which I think is spot-on - like in the past nobody had a budget for tv animation so all the bad cartoons were bad, but it seems like the worst ones today are just aggressively terrible. He sometimes makes good points but then spoils them by saying something awful.
It's sad because I looked up to Butch... then I saw everything behind the scenes. I even contributed to this because I liked the idea of fresh animating faces in a new streaming service. Yes. I am disappointed
damn I hate it when another Christian makes the rest of us look so bad. I cannot stress this enough we're not all like Butch Hartman. religion & cults are 2 different things & that prick Hartman made Christianity look like a cult. all my respect for him is totally gone & though I still enjoy the Fairly Odd Parents (except the last few seasons where it looked like flash animation, eww) I'm still thoroughly disappointed that he would drag my religion through the mud, make fun of or disregard other people's problems, & hide behind religion to justify bigotry!!! and just the shame of plagiarism, God dammit he's a famous artist & animator why does he need to trace?!?!?! & as an animator he should know better than to exploit your own. total traitor.
21:20 Here's something I never got. Why are depressed people always shown sitting by a window in bright daylight? I get that it's symbolic because it shows them looking out at the world outside that they don't wanna be a part of, but personally I would hate to sit in plain view of everyone, exposing myself. No, I'd find a dark corner in a sofa.
If you dive deep to charities of any kind, it’s all a money making scheme, and they have individuals that spend time seeing what will get people to donate the easiest. It’s such a shame we haven’t figured out charity without the money component. In an ideal world you would have companies and governments provide products and services to people who are able to donate their time to help out the disadvantaged. Putting money into it makes it a career, and gives an incentive to not fix things 100% because of you fix a cause 100% in say 20 years, than you have a bunch of people who have lost their careers and have to start from scratch in their 40s or later. So it’s a vicious cycle. And then there are the people that just purely take advantage of generous people.
@@sloppynyuszi While this comment of yours has literally zero to do with the one I originally posted, you are right, and that makes me think back to the classic Disney version of A Christmas Carrol where the two charity collectors come to visit Scrooge, who then says "have you considered, that if you give money to the poor, then they are no longer poor, which means you no longer need to collect money, and if you no longer need to collect money, you are out of a job".
I am so glad that I didn’t hear about this when it was happening. I once had respected- and even felt sorry for- Mr. Hartman. I respected him for his works and for leaving what seemed to be Nickelodeon’s greedy grasp. I felt sorry for him because he had his works twisted for terrible means with the Randy Stair store massacre. But then he stole artwork, stole a quarter million dollars from people (God knows where they got the money from), and insulted various insecurities and disabilities from people. He doesn’t deserve anything from me, that’s for sure.
And he basically is part of a cult. Whatever that is is not your average church not by a long shot. Their intentions sound like something a James Bond villain would come up with.
13:28 They also didn't have more centralized social media sites. It used to be decentralized message boards and chat rooms spread all across the internet (I mean granted, there's still Skype and Discord as the new generation of said chat rooms). It was a lot harder to get targeted and harassed if you were in low-profile communities than it is if you're putting yourself out there on Twitter, Deviantart or RUclips (formerly Tumblr, no one cares about Tumblr after the pron ban). Not to mention those communities were properly moderated so it was a lot harder for aholes to get away with it to begin with. Not to mention that after the early to mid 2010s, a lot more aholes have rooted themselves in decentralized communities and even when they tend to play by the rules, they still often get away with a lot of stuff they really shouldn't be allowed to.
As an introvert, I didn't know it was important for others to know what I'm thinking or to make it easy for people to speak with me...when as an introvert, I don't wish to communicate with others, lol. And I've heard that line of thinking before. I hear it with people who say "I don't trust someone who doesn't drink", as though alcohol is the only way to guage a person's personality. I assure you, people don't just do a 360 when they drink, any troubling behaviors they have were present when sober, you just missed the sirens. As a non-drinker, it's not my job to do backflips to assuage someone's fragile trust issues and similarly as an introvert, it's not my job to make others feel comfortable around me just because they're chattier or more sociable. That sounds a lot like when a parent might tell their child to be friends with a kid they don't like. Not everybody wants to your friend, and not everyone is going to want to talk to you, Butch. One final note as well to all my fellow introverts; you're likely not anti-social, you're asocial. Recently found out about the difference in those words. Asocial is to be "without" socializing (you'd rather not socialize but you can if you must), but anti-social is flat out "against" socializing, such as not agreeing to it and it's a much stronger aversion. Someone mentioned that to me recently and I appreciated it as being called "anti-social" got tiring with having to defend myself as not being standoffish and aloof. Introverts still socialize, we have friends, it's just we're more selective on whom we socialize with and when or where we hang out and even for how long, or we might need breaks to recharge our social batteries before jumping back in to hanging out. Still, last I checked, that's not being anti-social :)
All of this, so much. As an introvert I still have friends and family I love, and love spending time with; but after a few hours of socializing even with them I experience a sort of emotional exhaustion. It's not optional, and *definitely* not personal - there's just nothing more in the tank. Shouldn't it be obvious that trying to shame or jolly me out of my deep contentment in my own company is only going to make me want to avoid you?
Butch just shows how unqualified he is on the topic. There is many levels and versions of this issue. There are people that have anxiety talking to people. And I’m going to venture this is who he is talking to. And in his caveman way is trying to say just don’t be anxious. He is trying to use the term “leader” in here, which is basically scam terminology to get you to join a movement where you a total follower, but try to make you feel like you in control. You see that in motivational gurus trying to sell you some lame personal benefit videos, and also recently, crypto people, trying to sell you on some new digital currency. There are people who just don’t like people. That’s Ok too. Not everyone has to be a bloody celebrity or a popular person. Just do what you need to do to make ends meet and live a happy life.
@@butterflyminder Yeah, ages ago I met some extended family for the first time and after a few hours, I went and sat at the dining room table to recharge (there were also a lot of kids there and...I'm just not really big on kids. I don't want any of my own, but they were sweet and I complied as my half-sisters put makeup on me, lol). I was asked several times if I was alright and it was hard to explain to them that it was not to be mean, but I needed a break from being around so many people when I was so used to my much smaller immediate family. My saving grace was weirdly someone checking their horoscope for the day and the horoscope for Taurus', which half my family are, was to need some alone time, lol. Everyone began to wonder if they had followed the horoscope for the day as well, XD
That always makes me laugh. All I can think is "but what if I don't feel like being around people"? I mean I have to be in the mood to socialize with people, other than that I'd rather chill at home on my days off from work and read a book, watch RUclips, movies, or play video games. Am I wrong?
When someone complains that I don't let them into my thoughts and emotions, I ask when did I owe you that knowledge. I can be friendly, but I largely like to be left alone. Hell, I don't even date. I'm attracted to others, but I haven't met anyone recently I want to let in, and it wouldn't be fair to lead them on to a closed door. And I'm happy this way. I'll stay introverted thank you.
Unpopular take here -- but as an introvert I did in fact have to accept that people were not going to magically intuit what my intentions were--I had to learn to communicate better if I wanted to be understood. Still, he absolutely said that in the worst possible way.
Anyone realise the similarities between keji inafune and butch Hartman? Both are people who worked on famous media. Inafune was considered the father of Mega man even though he only contributed to the idea. Hartman created Nickelodeon shows like Danny Phantom and Fairy odd parents but he didn’t do the final designs of the characters, another artist did that. They complained about their former companies restricting them or not going in the direction they thought was best. They used their fame to capitalise on future endeavours using Kickstarters which ended up being controversial and have probably destroyed all their goodwill. The ‘father’ of mega man made a game that was a rip off instead of a spiritual successor. The guy who apparently ‘made my childhood’ is now trying to make a big propaganda service based on bad opinions and false information under the guise of Family entertainment.
Im a massive megaman fan and i still respect keiji for what he did in the franchise Sure he didnt create classic megaman but stuff like the X,zero and legends would never be a thing if it wasnt for him The problem is that he started to let his ego be in the way of his game and then he started ranting about how japanese games are dying and that he was the "hero" ho would save them... His western push was a major failure and it didnt help that he wanted to make a multimedia franchise out of every game he had his hands on I still think he is a good developer but he let himself become outdated because he was too busy admiring his own reflection
For the most part I can up to a point. It highly depends on the person and the art though. But if it's really good art I can definitely just ignore the artist and focus on the art.
imo it's not even worth doing unless the work is really THAT good. I watched a hell of a ton of Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom growing up, but they're just not worth watching or celebrating over *any* other cartoon made by creators that aren't Butch Hartman.
@@TheGershon Well it's not always that you would watch, read or look at something now. In those cases, it's do you let the artist interfere with your memories. If you can say that was still a good memory or I'd probably suggest that show to a kid now, then you've done it.
The autism stuff is what really made me fed up. I have followed Hartman's story for a while, and I am autistic, so I know what it's like to be autistic from personal experience, and what his wife is doing is harmful. Autism is pretty much a divergence in the way your brain is structured, some people may say your brain is "wired differently". It's not something you can cure, and you sure don't cure it through prayer, so what Mrs. Hartman is doing is swindle parents out of their money, and some autistic adults too no doubt, and turning them away from ways to actually help their children/themselves, no doubt making their lives worse in the long run. No matter how many "therapies" there are out there, autism doesn't go away, because it's pretty much the way your brain is, in good and bad, and you're much better off learning to live with it, reap the benefits your autistic brain gives you and get accomodations for the disadvantages to live a better life rather than trying snake oil to make it go away. But hey, what do I know, I'm not a doctor, I'm just an autistic man.
"Stop being an introvert because being an introvert is selfish, and you make people uncomfortable because they don't know what you are thinking or how to communicate with you". Okay, let me break this down. 1. Everyone else is being selfish in one way or another, so why can't I? 2. People make ME uncomfortable (which is why I'm an introvert to begin with), so I guess we're even. 3. Trust me, it's better that people don't know what I'm thinking. 4. Good, they SHOULDN'T communicate with me period, cuz that's exactly what makes me uncomfortable, because whenever someone gets in contact with you, its more often than not, because you apparently did something wrong, and they have a bone to pick with you.
It's willful ignorance on his part. He's just revealing how intolerant and awful he truly is. When he says the stuff about "you make other people feel uncomfortable," that's about him. Nobody else. Also given how much Hartman enjoys hearing himself talk...he should enjoy being around introverts. He never shuts up. But that's sort of the point. He's completely incapable of relating to introverts (apparently most people) in any form. He can't imagine what it'd be like to *stop* talking and demanding attention from people and I believe that's what actually makes him uncomfortable. The very idea of not being the center of attention makes him uncomfortable. I'm an introvert surrounded by extroverts who are extremely understanding of our communication differences and that we have extremely different tolerances for social situations. Hartman is just a truly awful person.
@@Briarcastle Wuav, I didn’t think of it that way at all, but yes, when you have a problem with something or someone, it more often than not circles back to yourself.
@@FloridaEbikes You’re right, I’m terrified of people, because the very moment you show any signs of being happy, they’ll do all in their power to peg you down a notch or twenty.
@@FloridaEbikes Except...some people can't do that. Changing yourself is actually rather difficult even with a lot of self-reflection. Anxiety disorders in particular require significant therapy and support that genuinely cares about you to make a difference. Instead of telling the person the same thing they've been told likely *hundreds of times* try to be supportive. And no, I don't mean feeding anxiety; you are acting exactly how PikaLink says people act that makes them uncomfortable...
@@Gulyus This is a person who actually doesn't believe brains can be wired differently. It's not worth engaging or arguing with them. They don't want to believe differently. There is no bootstrapping yourself out of being an introvert. It's what you are. It's the same as telling someone born with brown eyes they aren't trying hard enough to have green eyes. It's just stupidity on their part.
Owwww, this is a kickstarter drama I was very much familiar with. I gotta say, I began seeing it as "aren't people exaggerating a bit?", and it turned to "wow, people were underestimating this!" in such a short time.
I mean metaphorically speaking it started as a dumpster fire and then spread to the whole mall. Just how deceptive and repugnant this man was he got everything that was coming to him. (though not nearly enough in my opinion) On the good side I think we've seen the last of Hartman at this point. I don't think there's coming back from this at least not from the general public.
As a Christian, the "seven hills of influence" idea doesn't really make any sense to me. Doesn't that idea run contrary to the events of Revelations? I also disagree with his comment about introverts. I definitely don't think that it's selfish for me to keep to myself. if anything it's the opposite, I'm doing the world a favor by keeping to myself.
really nothing more than a vague reference to taking over Rome (built upon 7 hills in myth) which was the capital of the world as far as christianity was concerned. In this case they made the hills the 7 pillars of modern society. Standard American Taliban power lust, wrapped in pseudo-religious propaganda.
They don't care. Jesus literally said "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and yet these evangelical types seem obsessed with abolishing the right for anyone who isn't like them to live life happily (just look at this "Project 2025" scheme they've been pushing). They claim to live and breathe the word of God, but only use the Bible as a crutch to justify their bigotry.
Wow, even before his attempt to hide his homophobic and fundamentalist notion, he just sounds ASTOUNDINGLY arrogant. The idea that HE knows better than parents what their kids should watch is the height of hubris. The sort of arrogance is rife within modern fundamentalist movement. As for religion, as a Christian myself, I don't mind anyone's faith, or lack therof. My only issue has ever been people on the margins, and this is the hilarious irony of fundamentalists. Their moral absolutism is what scares people away from the faith. If this thing ever, EVER launches, people will poke into it, see it for what it is, and perpetuate the stereotype that Christians are all bigots. The organized church is the worst thing to happen to the faith.
@Jesus Zamora Just simply saying that you're Christian and not like Butch Hartman, makes a massive difference to people who aren't Christian. Because it shows that you care for others, while fundamentalists only care for themselves. I would even go far enough to say that you and Butch Hartman worship different gods.
thing is groups like his that claim autism can be healed also claimed that when it isnt healed that you are not believing enough. They claim that commiting suicide is your fault. But by making claims that people that can't be "healed" from things that cant be "healed" in general they are causing suicides. So they are dragging people into a complete psychotic mess just because off their crazy beliefs. Like im religious myself I wont beat around that bush but I 100% dont think that if stuff isnt getting cured your belief is not strong enough. Thats not how it works. Saying stuff like that makes people mentally ill And hating any type off religion to. So you litteraly drag people down in something they can never return from purely because you think you know better as anybody else. its egoistic, self centred and in some cases even deadly for people. Those type off people are the evil they claim they want to protect the world from.
I was following this very closely when it was going down. He used to have a bunch of second channels, in one of them, there's a video of him and his wife talking about contacting ghosts or something like that. I can't remember the channel and it seems to be gone now.
i honestly kinda shocked this kinda mentality from decades ago still exist in this day and age, kids are smarter and will always find another way. Everyone who was a kid at one time knew this
I have one thing to say to you Butch Hartman... Just causes you have an opinion doesn't mean everyone else's is invalid and your is right. The worst people are the ones who say they love god and pray to Jesus but also publicly say and perform actions that god nor Jesus wants anything to do with and at the same time use the word of God to scam people out of their money.
As someone who has Anxiety AND Autism Spectrum Disorder, I refuse to go anywhere near what this man has even a tiny bit of influence on other then the cartoons I've watched over the past few years (The non-religious ones that have been on TV), and as someone who's Gender-Fluid I will die on the "Danny Phantom Is Trans" hill, as someone who identified as Trans for YEARS before realizing I was Gender-Fluid I know a lot of stuff from interacting with other trans people (And especially other LGBTQIA+ people) and that guy isn't cis, very much FTM trans coded.
Depression is a feeling of hollowness in your body, and a detachment from your life. If you have MDD(major depressive disorder) like me and my wife do, you can't control it and it will never go away. You may need therapy. You may need medicine. You need a support system who understands your mental state. Streaming Services can't do that
It isn’t like there is an arm of the government in pretty much EVERY country in the world, which only job is to review and classify ANY and EVERY piece of commercial media, to show what the proper minimum age to consume it, as well as clearly classifying any themes the may be concerning. Which is then shown at the beginning of EVERY commercial media. This dude can’t be more wrong, as the guys “upstairs” are showing who should and shouldn’t watch the content shown on tv. Also, there is no kids channel that shows “real” horror or murder, or a smex scene. But he should know that working for Nickelodeon...
My question is this; has Butch gone to medical school? His comments on introverts, and suicide would flare up the medical community. As someone who has basic psychology education myself, and currently dealing with a child with suicidal thoughts; Butch really needs to keep his mouth shut on matters like that. Especially if he has no education background to substantiate such thoughts. Suicidal thoughts alone is not as simple as many people think. Telling someone to just get over it can actually set off the thought and possibly their actions toward suicide. And my child without going into personal details involving names had a teacher to get over the loss of a family member. I got a phone call from the school and yes I demanded to have the teacher in the administrator office. My child was caught in the school bathroom about to cut themself on the arm right on one of the main blood veins after she was excused during a class and was escorted to the bathroom. Don't get me wrong; I love Butch's old cartoons. But he lost my respect as a human being.
The Scooby-Doo movie that my brother and I watched until we corrupted the file was, ironically, Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. Still have no idea how we broke a digital recording, but we did. One of my favorite Scooby-Doo movies, tied with Zombie Island.
Oaxis allegedly isn't dead. Holly Payne, someone who's worked with butch hartman, has announced on Instagram very recently that she'll be a writer for it
Suicide thoughts don't disappear by themselves, the more depressed you are, the stronger they become until you can't hack it anymore and in desperation bite a bullet. Although thankfully I was never driven over the edge, the experience itself was not a pleasant one.
As a professional illustrator and colorist for a living (who also takes commissions on the side, thus my having an opinion on this), I understand that Butch has his own style to his work. All advanced artists, professional or hobbyist, do. That being said: That commission of Mikasa is just a sh¡tty picture with broken anatomy. It's not style, it's rushed sh¡t. I would be furious if I had paid $200 and gotten that in return. That garbage gives commission artists a bad name. Style isn't an excuse to do whatever you want. It's a little hard to explain, but style is successfully bending the rules of reality without breaking them completely. All solid styles have their own set of rules within their own reality, and those rules are based on _actual_ reality. Even the most zany styles have their own solid reality that makes sense within that style. Developing a solid style usually takes a pretty sturdy understanding of reality. When Butch actually TRIES with his artwork, it has a solid style to it. The rules are skillfully bent. Those commissions, though? They're just broken.
the biggest issue is that Family Friendly is code for Christian Friendly... which is fine but be honest and say it is a Christian Network from the start.
Butch Hartman doesn't understand the true meaning of "secular programming," which is a type of religion-neutral programming the majority of us watch on TV every day!
22:36 The proper wording would "if you are autistic", saying "if you have autism" suggests autism is a disease, when in reality it's a neurological difference.
I don't see what's wrong with saying either. I'm autistic and have often heard people say using the latter is better because it makes less of a connection between autism and the person who has it
Plain and simple butch has no right to make those assertions. Depression and mental health you dont just "Get over it." Getting the help you need isnt a guaranteed cure all and the ignorance he spits is rather disgusting. The deceit Butch has given about Oaxis is disgusting. Thank you for posting this mr. Slopes people need to see this man for who he really Is. You've really done your homework.
I think his sanity dropped as time went on. Just look at the quality of his stuff. People love Fairly Oddparents and, while I don't like it, most people like Danny Phantom. But that dog show and that monster show (I can't be bothered to look up the titles)? You never hear anyone talk about those aside from a certain community that makes way too much art of the cat from the dog show.
I saw a video a while ago when this project was still vague; I figured it was probably a Christian channel because how it kept saying the word "family". It's always been a code word for religious groups and people who don't want to say they're religious...
I hate faith period, since it's the last resort excuse people use to justify their belief in something when they have no good reasons, because if they had actual good reasons, they wouldn't need faith to fall back on.
Like it or not, Butch Hartman being held back by Nickelodeon's corporate standards is what kept his image clean and likeable for the longest time. Once let off that leash, it was only a matter of time before he ran himself to the ground in pursuing his religious agenda.
But the crazy part is how non religious he acts and how Shady he is... Like Judas, but without that redemption in the end...
Honestly, that's a lot of people in the entertainment industry. There's tons of examples just in gaming.
I guess all these assholes will one day leave that bubble and won't have a HR department of dozens of people to tell you to shut the fuck up and that's when you see who they really are
I like to call this phenomenon the Lucas Unleashing.
Jesus Christ, just how self-absorbed do you have to be to call people selfish for having the audacity to not immediately overcome their emotional issues and change their entire way of life for your comfort?
"It's cancer, get over it"

Butch hasn't even got the meaning of introversion correct... Introverts are recharged mentally by relaxing on their own, while extroverts find being with others is what recharges them. Some people like chilling with books and some people like partying. Some like a bit of both.
A lot of introverts are shy and prefer their own company, but just as many are very social! Just in small doses.
Also the idea that being an introvert is that you're inherently selfish. Pretty sure there are tons of extroverts out there who are more selfish than an introvert could ever hope to be, at least if celebrities are anything to go by.
He treats introversion and extroversion like they’re easy choices to make or change.
@@ccricers right? Like "ah yes, I'll just rewire my brain! Thanks butch, I never thought of it that way!"
It's true. As an extrovert, I thrive on consuming the energy of introverts.
Ya know what's great about you, Dan? When it comes to something like mental health, which is a really serious issue for a lot of people & not something you've personally experienced, you:
1. IMMEDIATELY say that you don't think you are qualified to give anyone medical advice on the topic
2. Give a point of view which is based off of scientific evidence and research done by specialists & that isn't way off topic from what's being discussed - just a basic statement that current research does not agree with Butch's stated solution
3. Tell people who are facing serious mental health issues to go get ACTUAL, non-Butch Hartman approved help without making it about you, or advertising a product
Thank you.

Conversion therapy??
I mean obviously they don’t see hating pretty much everything different from the Christian values as them breaking them, nooo… did we even go to the same camps together because that’s not what they preached 🤨
I just need alone time and thus prefer solitary activities when relaxing during the weekend, you might occasionally find me at a party but only for a short while before the sheer amount of people make me exhausted even though I don’t talk to everyone so eh idk 🤷♀️

He could avoided this if he just let the oaxis fundraiser die, and start a separate campaign with the christian stuff front-and-center.

Butch Hartman is responsible for the song montero
I dont think it was recent…. Is it too hard not to think he just wanted a coolshow
"I'm going to be the face. Like Walt Disney was for his studio"
Who doesn't love a massive ego when considering if they should back a project with their hard earned cash.
If there's one thing the internet can all agree on, it's a mutual hatred of plagiarism.
That photo of Seth Mcfarlane and Butch Hartman together has cursed me. I don't have long.
OK, the husband and wife wondering how Butch got in their house did remind of those parody commercials from Sheep in the Big City and that got a chuckle out of me.
"doggy door"
As scummy as he is, he is genuinely quite funny.

I do think the concept of him breaking into your house and pitching his streaming service is hilarious
it fits with the theme of sneaking his religion into a streaming service covertly in an attempt to trojan horse his religion into our lives

I know people liked FOP, but his shows were so unremarkable compared to Invader Zim, Ed, Edd & Eddy, Samurai Jack, Spongebob and Megas XLR.

Just because the statistics for mental health issues weren't there 'back in the day' does NOT mean they didn't exist. Today these issues are more commonly discussed. Mental issues have many outpatient options that would have been treated with hospitalization ages ago.

I’m not sure about anyone else but doesn’t the Oaxis logo look somewhat tone-deaf to them? Their content may be safe and kid friendly, but the design and colors of the logo say “bold and shocking”. It looks more like something for sensational tabloid format news.
Life peaked when this controversy is what everyone was talking about
I have to agree with this 👍🏻
The summer of 2018 was truly a magical time, along with all the other times he goofed.
Getting major nostalgia thinking back on that.

stan lee is just as scummy as Butch, and the fact you still use the racist First Name Last Name for respected Japanese people, means you are kinda racist. if you really respected them, you'd give them the respect of putting their names in the right order.

Also, Bluth's Kickstarter for Dragon's Lair I think would be an interesting video to consider going over-- I haven't heard anything about the Dragon's Lair thing for a long time.

Agreed

14:43
I've been a Christian since I was 12 (I'm 39 now) and I've never heard of that until right now.
23:26
Ohhhh...

When you're depressed but have big brain
Not to mention that after the early to mid 2010s, a lot more aholes have rooted themselves in decentralized communities and even when they tend to play by the rules, they still often get away with a lot of stuff they really shouldn't be allowed to.
wtf are you talking about
@@人間-y7r Nothing anyone who grew up after the rise of social media would understand.
Popular take. Well recieved
You know, if I had to pick who was WORSE between Butch Hartman and John Kricfalusi, I'd actually pick Butch Hartman.
Im a massive megaman fan and i still respect keiji for what he did in the franchise
Sure he didnt create classic megaman but stuff like the X,zero and legends would never be a thing if it wasnt for him
The problem is that he started to let his ego be in the way of his game and then he started ranting about how japanese games are dying and that he was the "hero" ho would save them... His western push was a major failure and it didnt help that he wanted to make a multimedia franchise out of every game he had his hands on
I still think he is a good developer but he let himself become outdated because he was too busy admiring his own reflection
Thanks, I was looking for a moral justification for hating this guy, not just because I think his cartoons are ugly.
Just because I'm pretty good about being able to seperate art from artists, it would be nice if I didn't have to so much.
I envy you. I completely lack this ability.
@@Lugnal It surprises me sometimes I ever developed it.
@@FloridaEbikes
Except...some people can't do that.
The family in the advert could have just changed the channel.
(though not nearly enough in my opinion)
On the good side I think we've seen the last of Hartman at this point.
As a fellow Christian, seconding everything you said. Sadly, the fundamentalists are EXTREMELY loud.
Then what? It's his choose to be homophobic, any problems? You can't change his opinion, nerd
Can tell you right now, Butch was lieing through his teeth to get funding.
I would definitely not say 99.99% repeating of Christians are LGBTQ+ friendly. I'd say it's more around 75 to 80%, if I'm being generous...
I really like his videos, but that's an absolutely absurd thing he said. And you're definitely being generous even with 70%
Ah... The tale of Bitch Fartman, a man I used to at least like.
He was totally everyone's childhood...
I mean, sure he did not much outside of concepts but he was your childhood.
@@Penoatle I was more of a CN/Jetix kid.
Don't worry, guys. We will probably see the Oaxis serivce on the Amico.
Butch and Tommy Tollarico seem to be made of the same toxic stuff.
Slope just wanted to say thank you for your informative videos. I look forward to every one you put out!
I’m actually on the autistic spectrum with mental health issues and you’re completely right. Butch is spreading such harmful ideas about these things.
thing is groups like his that claim autism can be healed also claimed that when it isnt healed that you are not believing enough.
1:58 - Almost forgot that Butch used to be involved in Johnny Bravo til I saw that pic of him with Van Partible.
They already have something like this it's called the Hallmark channel.
Everyone who was a kid at one time knew this
introversion isn't an "issue" to treat
I have one thing to say to you Butch Hartman... Just causes you have an opinion doesn't mean everyone else's is invalid and your is right. The worst people are the ones who say they love god and pray to Jesus but also publicly say and perform actions that god nor Jesus wants anything to do with and at the same time use the word of God to scam people out of their money.
I love the part where that dad says, "Who are you?"
Streaming Services can't do that
It's weird discovering his dark side when he seemed like such a wholesome dude
As an Autistic Asexual Christian... WTF
"This is where our story all links together"

Nice touch Daniel, nice touch.
That being said:
That commission of Mikasa is just a sh¡tty picture with broken anatomy.
There's a clear satanic influence on all media. All the devil does is destroy. God creates. Why can't there be a good influence on what we consume ?
@@hazerain7354 Except for the fact that God is the one that made evil and darkness, and destroyed the world in a flood.
When will butch hartman be put to justice or at the very least be stopped?
It’s only a matter of time until Butch Hartman starts promoting NFT’s and stealing someone else’s art again. That will really piss people off.
Butch Hartman doesn't understand the true meaning of "secular programming," which is a type of religion-neutral programming the majority of us watch on TV every day!
I don't agree that he copied that commission image, it was just the same pose, but in a completely different style.
22:36 The proper wording would "if you are autistic", saying "if you have autism" suggests autism is a disease, when in reality it's a neurological difference.
I use the former and I'm autistic.
I don't see what's wrong with saying either. I'm autistic and have often heard people say using the latter is better because it makes less of a connection between autism and the person who has it
@@LILProductions Being autistic is part of who a person is, by saying they have it you're pathologizing it.
I hate blind faith
I hate faith period, since it's the last resort excuse people use to justify their belief in something when they have no good reasons, because if they had actual good reasons, they wouldn't need faith to fall back on.
Why must the Nickelodeon's directors be nasty weirdos?
Nick had very low standards, and frankly still does.
