I just want to say that this is by far the most badass car that I have ever driven in my lifetime. I am very impressed with the results of the head work and race cams. It pulls like a freight train but the camera does not capture how violent this car feels in these videos, it will take your breath away. It is so good to be back, can't wait to get more runs in! @@yogamon I did 3.6 when I was testing launch control a few years ago, but this was on shitty tires so it was spinning like crazy, check my launch control video. I broke my original rear diff launching the car and haven't tried it since. I will build the diff at some point and try again, but for now she is loving a 40 roll without breaking any drivetrain ;)

I had the overboosting issue aswell. Couldn't figure what it was. Changed my n75 to a Mac solenoid still same, gave up. Left the S2 parked for 7days and it cured itself lol

Correct, limiter is at 8000rpm... 200mph is a big goal that I have for the car and I certainly plan on making that happen when the time comes. Only time will tell...

When you did the first pull i heard a sound at (1:47) which is very identical to a sound that has been pestering me for the last 6 months on my AAN S6 96', it also only occurs around 3K rpm and then disappears by the 3,7K mark.. the sound is like a metallic rattling noise. The sound is not there when the engine isn't under load. I just wanted to hear if you ever had had this issue before and what you did to fix it😄 Thanks for the awesome content, keep going!

Yeah, I thought that was odd. Turbo is originally a Precision 5858 but the old owner had the compressor upgraded to 62mm but not the turbine. Not sure why they didn't just go 6262 but that is definitely what is on that car. New setup feels and performs great, the 1st-2nd shift at WOT is brutal!
Great... Are you gonna make a video on swapping out the C4 linkages to the newer style B5 linkages @@quattro4life20vt?... The C4 bushings and parts to refresh are NLA, so i feel a video would be very beneficial, even for those not using the coolerworx setup.
I plan on doing a video going over the shifter setup and why I went the route that I did. But for now to answer your question the coolerworx shifter is the missing link to making B5 linkage work in a C4 car. The shifter deletes the stabilizer rod so you only need the shifter rod. That is the only way I could figure out how to run the newer solid linkage.
No, they are totally different setups. What I was trying to say was the coolerworx shifter works because it is designed for a C4 chassis. You can order the shifter for either 5 or 6-speed Audi 100 C4. I got mine for 6-speed so that way I could use the linkage from a B5 01E 6-speed. That is the only way I could figure out how to run the newer linkage on this car... Coolerworx shifter made it possible

The race cams pick up where the 7A cams fall off. If I was only revving to 7500 then they wouldn't be as useful. These cams peak around 9k so the power is climbing all the way to my 8k limiter instead of falling off at 7500. This makes the car pull way harder at top end because you are sitting at higher rpm for much longer in higher gears. Definitely lost some midrange and a little bit of spool but it certainly makes it back up top and then some :)
Gearbox is a 01E 6-speed from a B5 S4. I rebuilt it with JHM carbon synchros and updated 1-2 shift collar. That is why I am slamming 1st-2nd gear without hesitation. I did a full video upgrading the transmission if you'd like more info on that subject. Thanks for watching!
Yes using b5 s4 linkage but it will only work by removing the A/C lines that go through the fire wall. I found that the car would not go into reverse because the linkage would hit those lines so I had to take the engine back out to remove that and make additional clearance in the tunnel area. It was a lot of work but obviously now it was 100% worth it, thanks for watching!

On this 6-speed at 8000rpm 5th gear tops out just north of 170mph. 6th gear should do 190+ but I have never had it over 180mph because it doesn't have enough power to get there fast enough. My goal for the car is to hit 200mph so I guess we'll see when the time comes... I just finished my new setup, just need to do some tuning and get it dialed in so you should expect a new video by next weekend!
