Yokohama Trophy for Masters Sports Car Legends | Silverstone Festival 2023

A stunning field! Sports racers from the late '60s through to the mid 70s, as raced in period at endurance events like 24 hours of Le Mans. Incredible on-track battles with head-to-heads between two Ferrari 512Ms and a couple of Lola T70s at the top of the field. Incredible racing as the sun fades from the day for this final race of Saturday at #SilverstoneFestival 2023. Enjoy!

The 512s and m used a 5liter 60 degree V12, and in no way was ever used in F1. The 70-71 F1 Ferrari was the 312b which did use the 3liter flat 12

You guys do such great camera work and exemplary coverage with these festival races in England.This fall in the USA we had a few at Laguna Seca in California with a lot of very nice cars with some great racing and they had camera coverage but it looked like a few amateurs were hired or they did it for free.I hope they see this and get jealous.

Too bad the filmers don't have a track side camera/sound man to give a full bodied song as each car passes by. The long range microphones produce a confusing mismatch of all the cars stirred together. McQueen got the sound right 53 years ago.
