Again, more hearty thanks from me for presenting such a marvelous coverage of events. Full races, well shot footage, really hits the spot. This is the sort of documentation that these magnificent pieces of motorsport history need.
Had an absolute blast watching this and the other races while attending Goodwood Revival this year! The rain on Sunday made for some very exciting racing.
These classics .. Especially the front engine ones.. I like 'm way more than the modern F1's to be honest.Thank you VERY much for sharing, appreciate it a lot 👍 Greetings from the Netherlands, T.
Any day. Any hour round the clock. My local yearly classic race car event (CRAA - Classic Race Aarhus) sadly had to shut down last year due to lack of fundings, this after 10 fantastic years of all kind of classic decades and categories. If I as a kid in the 70ies was a sucker of vintage sports cars already this just intensified during CRAA, and my eyes finally opened really for Goodwood during these years. Hopefully, it seems Goodwood is preserved for years to come. And I'd rather watch a full Goodwood weekend than an entire F1 season combined, thats affirmative.
Once again, I couldn't thank @Goodwood Road & Racing enough for these gems of racing footage!!! Jon Spiers and Marino Franchitti did extremely well, considering that most of the top 10 finishers were much later cars, and they finished well inside the top 10 on Maserati 250Fs!!! Those were front-engined, drum braked cars!!! And, I'm devastated that Rob Hall retired in the Lancia D50... that is such a promising pairing... the Lancia sang so sweetly...
I am not a Motor Racing Expert, but these packed Starting Grids on such a narrow race course should be improved. Cut the field by 6 cars... space the rows a few meters apart.... you are taking a lot of risks with some very precious vintage machines. Goodwood is the world leader in Vintage Auto Racing.
Shame we missed car 7 passing 34 after a battle in early laps. at 3.53 all of a sudden 7 is in front. All we saw was another car in the gravel. Not impressed.
Watch to the end for one of the best saves you'll ever see...

Thank you for the full race videos GR&R, they are always appreciated.

I remember being at Goodwood when these cars were new and I was also there when Moss had his big crash. I must be getting old!!
Nah...
"Experienced."
@@AndrewBlacker-t1d Thanks for saying that.

Would rather watch this than F1 any day of the week.
Exactly my thinking. 😀

@@streetfighter4006Indeed he did.
Absolutely agree with you, love all historic racing indeed
Not kidding, the first lap of this race gave me goosebumps... Stunning stuff again

My question:
Where will all these priceless treasures be in 50 years? Saved from a world that doesn't believe they even existed?
Jeez, these are way more exciting to watch than modern 'Eff Wun' crap
Hallelujah!!
Doesn't look so

Am 64 my scalextric cars were these. Much prefer this to modern F1
Yes that was cool
Cooper reminds me of Brian Redmon car one of the greatest drivers of all time
F1 should race these instead of having sprint races
Poor Lancia
Yeah... And it is such a promising race, Rob Hall is a fast driver, he will surely finish high up the order with it...
A plymouth? I must have misheard

What an awful job of the race director, you need to hire a better one, now i will put my dislike.
A modern F1 fan...
All they know how to do is complain.
