I'll say this again. There was never any reason for Shannon to attack Russ. He needs to leave that man's personal life alone. There was absolutely nothing wrong with his interview. Literally chose to stop reading when Russ clarified a second time in that essence interview that im glad to open doors because they were opened for me by others too. Maybe he just feel Russ is a mid QB and isnt good enough to say hes opened doors for anyone. But like Jay Z said years ago and got flack for, just his mere existence opens doors, opens eyes, opens brains. Russ is and will always be a motivation for young black QB's because there are so few of them.
