- What started as a watering hole in the middle of the Mojave Desert has become one of the fastest-growing communities in the United States. People living here say it’s easy to understand why.
It must be difficult to keep track of how many people move into Las Vegas. A lot of people who live in the slums say they only have 4 people living in a 3 bedroom apartment when they know they have 10 people living in a 3 bedroom apartment.
Actually there are other ways to gather population data analysis.
What about the water shortage????? The lake mead drying up, where would the water come from???????
no one is denying that..just the people coming here dont know about it or dont care or think someway itll work out.
The value is gone of living there. Used to be affordable.
The commissioners approved 400 + Homes in sensitive Red Rock Canyon they must have misplaced those building restrictions just like Badlands Golf Course property which was originally zoned buffer and drainage only ! We Busted are asses off in the late 80s and early 90s to protect the Red Rock landscape, and now that those Commissioners are now so old that they don't remember or they may be dead now there's a whole new panel and those costs have gone up ! Cleaning up all that gypsum dust is going to take some work and a lot of money good luck building On worthless soil it's the people buying those homes need to worry !
Is 2023 the water came back up
These people are hiding the fact in order to rake in all the Billions in real estate.
Las Vegas faces challenges with the water and heat. Soon people will start leaving looking for cooler places and less water problems.
The traffic fatalities is a big concern and the excessive crime. Sad.
Las Vegas has one of the most advanced water Recyling systems in the world.
Lake Mead is rising!!!!!!
So we’re going to ignore the fact that Las Vegas has a lot of unused desert lots and empty parking spaces that can be used for real estate potential, brand new grocery stores, parks/ recreation, etc.
No one wants to talk about the elephant in the room. Where’s the water going to come from?
All the blind people don’t realize that majority of the lake is V shaped. They will not tell people the truth, they will milk everyone for the real estate market. Once the water goes it’s a ghost town and they know it. Don’t trust these people they are accustomed to fraud.
Yes, make us like every other big city in the country--dirty, over-crowded and over-priced. Love it!
I mean it’s Las Vegas not a small country town it’s inevitable
Will Pahrump exceed more then 100,000 people for the next 15 years? Pahrump is growing to the California border in the southwest along NV-372, since I have checked on the Google Map Street View and satellite view about Pahrump Nevada recently.
In the near future, Las Vegas can get all Big 4 professional sports. They have Vegas Golden Knights for the NHL, and Las Vegas Raiders for the NFL. Las Vegas is also seeking for the MLB, and NBA franchise teams. Las Vegas Aces is for WNBA.
I hope so
Brawndo has electrolytes. It’s what plants crave. 🌱
Idiocracy LOL
0:30 Good weather? 😂😂😂
Neither. We don't need another L.A in the middle of the desert.
You will grow until they can’t lie about the low water by then your homes will be worthless and they won. The only water security is for their casinos. Who knows how many pollutants are in the ground? Once those reach Lakemead you know it’s game over.
We should charge a welcome home tax to people coming from CA, who are causing prices on goods, housing to skyrocket. There aren't enough programs to assist those folks coming in and they are sucking up our resources like water.
I thought we were out of water and in a drought?
These 2, years have been the wettest but once you see no rain and they use up all the water for mines and continued construction you will see it for yourself. I bet these people will keep telling you it’s not a problem lol…..
I love las Vegas
Only way to go in Vegas is UP. As in up the mountains and up in the air to height restricted condos due to air traffic. I dont want either.
Pahrump is gonna be the next vegas in many ways.
Good people good weather and no water. WTF
ViVA Las Vegas 🎉
I LOVE LAS VEGAS NEVADA CITY 💘 TO THE CORE!!!!
Imagine 3 million people living in Las Vegas with no water but it will be justfine, probably ship in plenty of Diet Pepsi !
Probably not since we have our own bottling companies here lol
Let them built future I-11 which connect from Las Vegas to Reno Nevada, via Carson City. Las Vegas could get all Big 4 Professional Sports. They have already have Vegas Golden Knights for the NHL in 2017, and Las Vegas Raiders for the NFL recently. They are seeking for a Major League Baseball and National Basketball Association in the near future.
Vegas for Life
How do people deal with the heat ?
Between May and September: we hop in our air-conditioned cars, when we leave our air-conditioned homes, on the way to the air-conditioned casino. If we want to do outdoor stuff, we do it in the morning. Pretty simple. Rest of the year we chill. Electricity is SUPER inexpensive here. Has never cost me more than $200 in a Summer month to keep a 5000 sq ft home at 72 degrees. We have priority on the water in Lake Mead, over the 7 other states (and Mexico) that we share with. No worries about running out. At least, not for us.
Swimming pools and A/C.
@@sirjudge5055sounds horrible to me
JOBS HERE SUCKS!!! IT SAYS THEY'RE HIRING, YEAH RIGHT!!!
Las Vegas NV in the next 13 Years by the year 2035 the Population will increase to 3 Million
Claimant change says no, so where's the water in 2 years? Lake Mead fryingnup🙈
I think built up and spred out a little
Since the United States Government owns about 85% of the state of Nevada, Las Vegas may not have any choice but to go up.
Pahrump? really? short on water already...
Justin Jones??? He's the POS that wants to take your gas stove away!
Downwards
It should only grow out not up people need their backyards front yards their own property not no stupid condo with no space
Downward
Yeah high rise if you can afford rent over 2,000 4 a one bedroom
They'll be out of water by 2030
