Select all your patterns (click the top one then shift click the bottom one), right click, then choose "change colour". You'll then be able to choose two colours for your gradient. You can also click on the lock icon to have all the colours available to you, but it might mess with contrast so be careful. Also make sure to line them up in the arrangement and the pattern list.
