Yep, They weren't afraid to bring new stuff in, rather then relying on pre-existing nostalgic things that makes it repetative. They got star wars right. And i hope to lords that Season 7 is just the same. (Kiiinda sucks they showed the return of Ashoka in the trailer reveal thing... Will have less impact.)

I knew it, i knew that the malevolence was inspired by the bismarck. I felt it in my bones, when Yularen was complaining about how the battleship was able to soak all the damage their cruisers could dish out due to its massive size.
Kinda wished they used the Malevolence in a way later season. so you know they coulda had a massive fleet battle, instead of the C.I.S. Sending in a super weapon unsupported like in episode 4.
We also have to remember, the story ark was inspired by the Bismarck. A similar situation happened with the Germans. There were supposed to be other ships escorting, but they had to be repaired and they just sent the Bismarck on its own anyway. The Germans were confident enough in the ship just as the Separatists were in the Malevolence.
Grievous is a badass but he was simply not ready for the responsibility of being in charge of the malevolence should have just gave it to trench grievous would have been a better choice to escort the ship.
@@lillith3159 Indeed, and for me, who personally prefers Rebels, that series had more of an OT and original Star Wars feel, than Clone Wars - though of course it wasn't as groundbreaking.

Prioritising it over readily available combatant units in front of him? Yes, a monster, as well as anyone who would do that in real life instead of just capturing them etc.
Aaron Brougham It ensures that they won't be combat-ready ever again, easily disposing of thousands of soldiers who would end up on the field again at anytime. War is war, no rules. Actions and opinions differ from person to person, and in war anything can happen. Aaron Brougham You proved my point in your statement, it's "highly condemned", of course, but Grievous was playing to win, and had the CIS been under better leadership, he more than likely would have led his forces to victory. Plus, that's what the Republic gets for leaving a station full of thousands of injured soldiers sparsely defended. Let's not forget our modern-militaries either, almost all governments old and new have had to, at one point, commit an act that would be "highly condemned" as you stated. BTW, I think it would have been good to put the clones out of their misery, they were bred to fight and die for the Republic and nothing else, and eventually the Empire, who, let's not forget committed some of the most atrocious acts the Galaxy had ever seen.
The clone wars is great but, More Maul, And more story telling, the first 3 seasons don’t have much story like the ones on Mandalore. Like the episodes could be before or after each other it won’t make much of a change
To be fair, Maul got a LOT of well deserved screen time in the clone wars as is. He was developed extremely well, and made into a real threat even though he was on neither side in the clone wars. Grievous is the ONE character that should have required improvement in this show. Had him kill more Jedi, make him more of a threat. Make him win more frequently. He was after all such a major player in the clone wars, he deserved better. He only ever killed Nahdar Vebb, who's a padawan. He should be killing Jedi left and right whenever he's shown. So that fans understands that when Grievous is brought in, shit's about to get real!
2:18 ,,The crew really cares about Star Wars" - that's why this show is so great.

Death Gun They gave us new things to be nostalgic about!
Meanwhile at Disney: Let's just make another Death Star!
Facts. DAVE IS THE GOAT!!!!!!
makes cool new deadly ship
Disney: what about ANOTHER death star
another one but BIGGER!
I didn’t see any of y’all complaining when Gorge Lucas did the same thing

Oh god, that thing was terrible.
Fair enough.
Lmao totally agree
And why destroy this awesome ship in one episode
I knew it, i knew that the malevolence was inspired by the bismarck. I felt it in my bones, when Yularen was complaining about how the battleship was able to soak all the damage their cruisers could dish out due to its massive size.
TIL if you looked directly down at the Republic medical base, you would see the Galactic Republic symbol. That’s honestly such a cool detail.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!!!!
FORRRRRR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!
Kinda wished they used the Malevolence in a way later season. so you know they coulda had a massive fleet battle, instead of the C.I.S. Sending in a super weapon unsupported like in episode 4.
My question is why was the Malevolence never escorted by smaller separatist cruisers?
A fleet has a bigger chance of being discovered than one ship.
We also have to remember, the story ark was inspired by the Bismarck. A similar situation happened with the Germans. There were supposed to be other ships escorting, but they had to be repaired and they just sent the Bismarck on its own anyway. Exactly, the Bismarck only had one escort ship and even that for only a part of her mission.
They might risk hitting their own escort with the ion cannon too, which is why they armed it so it could defend itself. At least that’s what I think,
The ion cannon would have affected the other cruisers.
2:58 this shows how much the CW crew cares about SW.
That animal squeal XD
Awesome Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season One Video.
I love dis space battle ship
The only problem was giving it to Grevious
Grievous is a badass but he was simply not ready for the responsibility of being in charge of the malevolence should have just gave it to trench grievous would have been a better choice to escort the ship.
And constructing only one. When Bismarck gone there still was Tirpitz.
Yo

These guys are great 👍
Man I love this show so much I love how the writers care so much about the 'Star Wars' feel much better compared to Rebels
Its the same people that made rebels, and in the rebels featturetes you can see that they still care about the star wars feel a lot.

Rebels always felt boring to me.
Plus it relied too much on guest appearances and fanservice.
I like how the ship looks a bit like a shark.
ARC-170s FTW

The neebray scene was a bit Subnautica-esque, don't you think?
I agree
If you combine malevolence with nemesis from tf prime and subspace gunship from ssbb you get a one big city like battleship
What a wasted opportunity that they didn't have a flyover shot of the medical base so the audience could see the Republic symbol.
Thought this was star trek for a second
The only reason why to get Disney Plus is the stuff Disney didn't ruin, yet
whats with the audio delay ?

As long as SW is in hands of Dave Filoni, we fans should not worry.
Mr. Lucas , Just don't go back to J.J. ABRAMS.
