Your trim is not properly seated by the handle. You can tell since the carbon fiber is not flush with the leather door sill (arm rest) right by the newly installed handle. Super informative video. Thanks. I bought similar a year ago thinking it was easy then found out the whole assembly had to come off so I chickened out and just wrapped electrical tape to avoid the stickiness lol. Thanks for the motivation.
I had to do this to replace my door lock actuator but I held off on it for like two months bc I didn’t want to deal w the hassle , last week I finally got tired of my door not locking and did the project , taking of the door took me like 5 min. Another 5 min to install the actuator. It’s pretty simple just be gentle 🫡
Yooo I bought the same door handle for my e92 but the t20 screw that connects the handle to the door is stripped. You have any ideas on how to take off the screw? I been trying to use a rubber band but no hope
I did this and what's crazy is on the day of my driver test the lady went to grab my door handle and had the disgusting look on her face lol 😂 I replaced it with the same carbon one
That,s a lot of work to replace a handle part, thanks for the video insight.
yeah this is so stupid but there is not another way to do it unfortunately,
Thank you, I just got one about a month ago, and that’s been bugging me like crazy. Got it changed out in 30 minutes, thanks for the vid!
Nice videos! Your alternator replacement video was helpful to me, and this handle issue is on my list as well. Thanks for sharing!
Grat video, helped me a lot. I was surprised when opened it. In my e90 instead of plastic clips I have metal ones which cant be broken. 😅
Good job and I followed and fixed my 3225i's handle.
Glad to hear that!

@@IzzyE9X I got the screw out and dam it looks good all the messing around with everything really made me appreciate the look even more
@@angelvasquez975 right it looks so good!
Does this part fit on a 2009 bmw 328i?
Is the t20 100mm or 75?

I know the look on her face 😂
My door handle wire on the inside of the panel isn’t connected to the door itself and I can’t find a vid to show how it’s connected on that side
The cable that attaches the handle on the back to open the door?
You should of gone with real carbon fiber
they don’t make real carbon ones sadly
