Live at Jazz Jamboree Festival (November 27th, 1985) Keith Jarrett - piano Gary Peacock - bass Jack DeJohnette - drum 00:00 With A Song In My Heart 11:00 Georgia on My Mind
I would never think a drum solo on “Georgia” would work, but Jack DeJohnette is absolutely brilliant, and Jarrett and Peacock accent it perfectly. All three possess stunning musical ability...
Wow! Keith, Jack and Gary just laid it out in this concert. The Polish were thirsting for freedom in 1985 and the Trio gave them a big taste of it. Magnificent!!!
Jarrett and Metheny are probably the best professional improvisors in the world. These guys know how to handle phrases and lines of notes to give us such delight for the spirit.
Keith can only use his right hand now,it would be great if he could come back in some way with the limitation but I doubt he wants to. The Rick Beato interview was great,it should have been longer.
Easily one of the worst drum kits ever provided for a musician of Jack's caliber that I've ever seen. But the greatest players can make music on even the crappiest of instruments.

Beautiful version of Georgia. Really gave me a new perspective on the tune

This trio really did have a song in their heart...
Fantastic, and also the quality video😊
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been listening to this trio religiously since the 80s, and this version of Georgia is really exceptional. 🙏
Prawdziwa uczta dla melomana, człowiek orkiestra , wielka i gustowna wyobraźnia improwizacyjna , to było piękne..............

素晴らしい!!いや、素晴らしすぎる!!!

70% of the music I listen to is either Keith or Pat

Amazing
His sound on piano is actually insane.
i feel abit of oscar peterson...keith plays from his heart and with so much feeling...pure magic
Genius. But the towel? So loud . . .
A towel was on Jarrett’s list of requirements. However, it was missed. Fortunately, one of the organisers had a Babcia that lived close by.

You can easily add the very bad piano (or the recording of the piano...)
Non dimenticate che il video è parecchio vecchio, probabilmente recuperato da una vecchia vhs.
