I was at this show with some friends. The Trio played for maybe an hour (maybe this set?) and then we were told we had to leave and clear the Palau for the second show. What??? They played two shortish sets as separate paying shows? (The setlist given below by Gabriel B L is the total of the two shows.) A crowd of us waited around till they finished the second show, and as they came out and got into their vehicle we all started waving money in their faces, which of course they didn't like one bit. It took me a very long time to get sympathetic with Jarrett again. A very sour experience, but really good to see this excellent transfer (never seen it on Catalan or Spanish TV), congrats.
I can't remember if it was this one or his previous in 1981, also at the Paula de la Música, that he protested that the public distracted him and summarily ended the concert at what we thought was the intermission. He grunted and growled a lot, and was in a very bad mood.

I found it: Gary Peacock

Did Metheny ever play with Jarrett?
I don't think so.
