    I think the reason Dima won against Joo is because his shots have more power compared to Harimoto and Timo Boll (who lost against Joo in this tournament). It’s simply too fast to be returned

    Stop showing overhead camera shots, as you can't see what's really happening.
    And how about some intelligent commentary, instead of laughing.

    Ovtcharov is a bit too strong for Joo these days but Joo would beat a lot of players playing the way he did in this match.

    Ovtcharov has always been pretty good with choppers.

    相较朱世爀之前的打球风格,这场比赛里他倒板的频率出奇的高。

    to me it looks like joo has some kind of injury on his right leg that hinders him to play 100%. sad

      Some sort of chronic disease that I forget the name of. I'm sure a google search will return it though.
      Still impressive that he plays as well as he does.

      @erichong3430 6 лет назад

      its called Behcet Syndrome. The disease can involve arthritis but in Joo's case I believe it didn't. Lot of right-handed table tennis players wear leg bracers due to repeated and uneven load placed on their right leg.

    Dima seems to be more mature, in more moments in this game, played like Samsonov.

  • @yasha2033

    Ovtcharov is placing his open palm below the table befire he serves. Isn't that against the rules. The ball muat be visible to the opponent durig the serve.

    • @Fisherr82
      @Fisherr82 5 лет назад +2

      You are wrong. Serve starts when a ball is flying up the table.

    Dima has the weirdest forehand technique ever, the racket angle is so crazy flat. Idk how he does it

      I think he has a sort of backhand grip on the bat, I'm not sure.

    • @mayankgupta2543
      @mayankgupta2543 Год назад

      It is not flat dude, the closed angle racket generates more forward kicking spin but one only needs to brush up very quickly. Like he has to time very early on top of the bounce.
      If one plays with open racket, then he has to brush the back of the ball which does not have that much kick effect and ball does not goes very far. Also one can time the ball late when descending in this case
