Nice reaction, Dave! If the studio setup was the same as the live recording of this song from the Albert Hall DVD, the 'Brian May Sounding' guitar solo was played by Myles. The solo at the end is Tremonti. As good as this song is, it's only my 4th favorite on this album, meaning it's a solid record that doesn't get as much attention as it should, IMLTHO. Thanks again!
I agree The Last Hero is a very underrated album, I prefer it much more to Walk The Sky. Just out of curiosity if This Side of Fate is only your 4th favourite off the album what are your top 3 songs?
I may change my mind on the order, but the three are Crows on a Wire, You Will be Remembered and The Last Hero. But. . .I almost always listen to the whole album from start to finish. For me, there are no weak tracks.
