I’ve never dabbled in modular synths before but when I do I’m putting most of my money towards Erica synths. I love the raw sounds you get from these modules
Erica, Soma, Bastl and Teenage Engineering are my fave four at the moment (this year?) - these four entities made the pandemic bearable. Especially after losing my band, my business, my best friend (Suicide last month) and my Mother (COVID last year). I can honestly attest… Without the Erica DB-01, I don’t know how my life would’ve played out these last 18 months.

Seems like a nice little company. Love to see one of these on Sequentix and the Cirklon. Its the most wanted machine in techno if not electronic music in the past few years with a wait list of a year or longer to get one. Such an amazing machine and great little company. And they just moved to Berlin last year too. Hope you can make it happen.
The Sequentix guy seems really shy. He never replied to our request so it don‘t look like something will happen. Next one will be Verbos Electronics which is done already.
Don't give up. He is a bit of a mad genius but quite modest and it takes a bit for them to get reply on things. I guess it will just have to stay underground. Word of mouth like a good techno party. He might be at SuperBooth tho.

I have the Pico System 2 and love it stand alone but also enjoy the utility of all those modules with my larger system. Definitely will get their new 909 style seq.
Very nice vid! I dig this company! Funny thing is, I wanted a Make Noise case and ended up with an Erica Synths case.... I think the relation of quality and price is really good with Erica Synths. And I dig that that the company is form Latvia and not the typical USA or Germany...
I find more and more Erica Synth modules are finding their way into my rack. Cannot beat the functionality versus affordability and now i am happy to know Girts keeps as much of his process within his country. I think the Garage Project is really cool and Kodek might be my favorite DJ and personality to follow online but it would be very cool if it was less of an individual performance piece with single visual backdrop and made it in a more personable space with maybe an invite-only type crowd hanging out something in between the garage and the club...... and even do it more often; invite peeps who love Erica to do a set Make Baseck do it.. Also I volunteer to fill an invite spot and party with the Erica Synth crew.
this video was fascinating. I've got more Erica modules in my rig than any other company. (out of 34 modules, 11 of them are Erica) the build quality, functionality and design/look of their modules really appeals to me. (If i could every module in my case would be black :) keep going Girts, the stuff you are producing is only getting better... can't wait to get my hands on the new drum sequencer. are you guys still planning on making extra roms for the blackhole DSP? also, please give Tuna the cat a big hug from me ;)

I paused the film at 2:38; and what’s shown is a module definitely different from my pick ‘drums’ module. Panel shows dials labeled Tune Param CV and Decay, with cv ins for Param cv and Tune cv, then a trig in, and out, but I can’t tell if there’s a button next to the red LED, but I’m sure there’s word coming, maybe a ‘drumCV’ module that could be an expansion to my drums, to add decay, EG and VCA may be more appropriate for the 3hp form factor? I only just found out today that module can modify the sample’s pitch already?!!
