Next year the staff definitely need shirts that say “Feed Your Ex to Rex” Then visitors to the store/zoo can get in on the fun. You could do a combination of videos and live ex feedings. Have visitors donate $1 for a roach, $3 for a mouse, and $5 for a rat? (Or something like that.) They could have a certain number of openings each feeding. Ya know, have slots for 20 roaches, 10 mice, and 1 rat and once the slots are taken that’s it. Could do it the whole week leading up to Valentines or the first 2 weeks of February. Could be a fun way to get a little extra money for treats for the critters.

I used to intern at a zoo that did something like this. They did an auction to give a wolf pack a deer carcass. I think they raised like a thousand dollars and the guest got to watch it.
