    I've owned a e-fat bike for over 2 years and have basically turned the look around. I am a professional artist by trade and usually cannot leave "stock-looks" alone.Besides hard parts (handlebars etc...) I have used Italian leather for batt. cover, bags,and such. Hand-made headlight, custom hand-made Fenders......well, you get the idea! I had to give it some flavor!

    This is awesome. I was looking at the Rize Blade and this would work on that as well.

    Were you able to get the LED ring to turn on somehow or just the square light you placed inside?

    So questions. I scratched my head light from my hyperscorpion juice bike. My question is how can I replace just the glass of the light. Everything is find just the glass has bad scratches now.

    Thanks for the guides. I have a question if you don't mind: I'm going with the amber headlight for my Camp Scrambler. Whats the process of gutting and reassembly, and did you secure the headlight with foam like you did with the black headlight?

    • @derekmonroe3960
      @derekmonroe3960  4 года назад +1

      Good call on the amber light. So this housing has a reflective concave interior piece that the original bulb would stick through and reflect on, unlike the other housing on my city scrambler that I mounted with the foam insert. The void between the back of the reflective piece and the back of the light housing is only a couple millimeters more than the headlight that came with the scrambler, so I cut some foam to insulate and protect the light, cut a piece of clear plastic tubing that came with the new light housing and fitted it around the hole in the concave reflective piece for additional insulation and shock absorption. Finally, I positioned the Juiced light where I wanted it in the back of the housing inserted the reflective piece with some pressure to wedge the Juiced light in place, and added the amber lens to secure it. It’s maintained its position pretty well, but after some heavy off-road riding or taking massive potholes it’s moved slightly a couple times - easily fixed without disassembly through the hole in the back of the housing where the wires come out from. Hope this helps!

      @@derekmonroe3960 Thank you for the in-depth explanation. I ordered from a seller on Amazon, but it's unfortunately shipping from China, so it's going to be a while before I can give it a try for myself. Thanks again, Derek!

      All my suggestions should fit all "Scrambler" 4" fat eBike designs.
      Ok first the phone holder innovation is the same holder but with a USB jack on it, you might be thinking yeah nice try but, my bike voltage is too high. Problem solved, this holder supports 12-85V internally to give you 5v 2.4amps to charge your phone or devices properly. Link: $18.99 amzn.to/2yZB0UM
      Your rack might be easier with this Topeak kit. First, the Topeak Omni QuickTrack Adapter $27.99 amzn.to/2VTou2b This is popular and goes in and out of stock, the track can be removed from other of their racks if you can't find the adaptor in stock.
      Topeak makes a real nice trunk bag with pop out panniers. They have 3 models or more now but this one seems best suited and includes the track mount that is far more durable than velcro. Topeak MTX Trunk Bag DX $87.99 amzn.to/2KUebV7 although this one has smaller panniers it also has the track, bottle mount, and expansion top and shoulder strap making it the best value for this plan and not to low on the bike.
      Iberia & RockBros both, make cheaper knock offs but you may find them lacking.
      Speaking of rear racks, this one is compatible with most of these type fat 20" and bigger wheeled bikes due to wide adaption in the kit.
      (Thanks to Derek Monroe verifying this)
      Axiom Fatliner Bike Rack in their "UNI fit" line. $57.99 amzn.to/3fe8240 Add the Topeak track adaptor and you get a good solution and lower kick over height making mounting your bike easier.
      One last idea you might like, These are durable handlebar tip turn indicators when pressed auto stop and are good for night rides. CYCL Wing Lights Fixed V3-Turning Signals for Bicycles $39.99 amzn.to/35uE5Z9 Even though they use 4 CR 2032s you get a full 6 months of use. Very cool.

    • @Neowave607
      @Neowave607 4 года назад +2

      Hopefully he answers himself, but I'm pretty sure it's the 1-inch. Mr. Jones on RUclips also has a Headlight mod tutorial and he lists "ALAVENTE 1" Bull Bar Nudge Bar Mounting Bracket Tube Clamp Kit For LED Light Bar/Work Light (Black)" in the description which are identical to the ones here, and they're 1-inch.
