I just love listening to you and mostly it has to do with the respect your showing towards the local community (and the expat community). Just respect in general. In al lot of videos I see I just hear people talking about the benefits and they stick to the expat community, but I hear few people talking about contact with the local people. Me myself, I have lived and worked in Latin America for quite some years (now I live in spain because I have horses) and I was always there because of the culture (not because of the benefits/expatcommunity). With the 2 of you I feel a kind of nice balance between the two cultures (local/expat). You are in Latin america because you value some the freedom of living and the independency (just as I do), but you do value local knowledge and costums and that's what I love about your videos. Maybe we will meet someday in Paraguay. I am really thinking of moving there to the country side, but I still have my horses, so i need some time to leave them here in a retirement place here in Europa, after being together for 13 years and that takes some time for me, to let go.
@@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay First things first. I'll be in Paraguay for a few nights in July to go put the papers for residency in with Radu. Wish I could make it out of Asuncion, visit the country a bit but I'm literally there for 3.5 nights as I leave super early in the morning on the last day. Thank you for all your useful content and if you are in Asuncion in July let me know :)
Thank you for your insightfully invaluable videos again. Would you consider to make videos of the properties for sale or rent that you might visit/come across to ? Would be very interesting to see those properties presented by you two. All the best.

I use a water distiller at home. Can't trust the water out of the pipe here, sometimes its slightly brown, or has a funky smell to it. If I move to Paraguay, I'll be getting a distiller again, regardless of the water report. Being near a farm that sprays "stuff" sounds scary! 😲. Yes the problem with buying a place in an area with "nice land" is that its "nice land" for others too! Like farmers or city/road planners.
Lovely to see both your faces - we miss you in Nicaragua (oh the laughs I had at that u-tuber thinking u are a scam!) - we are onto our 5th mechanic now in Nicaragua & fingers crossed this may be the last!! - as you know our car dramas- fingers crossed for yours now too - great points you have made :)
Oh yes, that blog took a lot of work to photoshop us in Nica! Wow, you're onto your 5th mechanic too! Let us know how you go, if you need a 6th we might be able to get ours to take a trip.
@@ADirtCheapLifeParaguay I am from Paraguay. I have never heard of gold prospectors poisoning rivers here. The Lake Ypacarai has had some contamination although some locals still bathe there. Otherwise, the river beaches of Encarnacion (Rio Parana) and other areas such as Carmen del Parana, Laguna Blanca, etc., are clean and people swim and engage in water sports there all the time,
Only if you come from satanic oztralia or from communist nicaragua you can find para great. It is by far the worst in south am . Almost everything is bad, inefficient and hardship

Hi. Yes, definately, we have been looking for some houses for sale/rent to film. It can be a bit tricky because people are a bit shy about allowing you to film but we're definately working on it. We want to find some houses that are typical construction to discuss some of the things that we look for in this type of building. Thanks for the suggestion.

Some very good advice Brenda and Adam
Thank you for being straight and true.
It’s hard to find that these days.
Very good info. Thanks.
Well done thanks 🤠👍
I read that many rivers in Paraguay are poisoned with mercury and chemicals because of the gold prospectors.
We haven't seen or heard about that but don't doubt it might be happening. No place on earth is free of contaminated water ways.

You can "buy" all property with defects, seen and unseen, and title defects.
Just don't pay full market price!
great valuable info, many thanks... any insights about security ? cheers
I'll get a video out for you on that topic asap.👍
Where are you at? Itera ? I cant understand the name.
