A customer asked if I could put together a wallet for her husband on the occasion of their 3rd wedding anniversary, wouldn't you know it 3 years gets you leather! After some conversation, a loose design brief was created, something manly, incorporating his love of physics, possibly Celtic or Nordic inspired.
Well I came up with the idea to fully redesign a wallet based entirely around the Golden Ratio, 1.618. A dimension was found as the base measurement and every single adjustment from then on was multiplied by the ratio.
I wanted to make sure there were a lot of Fibonacci spirals worked within the design too, given that its directly proportional to the wallet itself and to all living things. So the scrolls looked great but needed to have a centre piece to frame, and I couldn't think of much more Nordic than a Raven, entwined with aged bronze scrolls and knots.

@@barbarabridder it’s difficult to edit down over 8 hours of working time to a video that gives customers a feel and an insight to their order being created. It is indeed fast, but I want to try and keep that customer engaged in how it was built.
