    My wife bought me this guitar so I would have a guitar on our honeymoon. It was fantastic. I had it out by the pool, on the beach by the ocean, it went to key west, miami, orlando, pensicola and nashville with us. It was always in tune. I didn't care that kids splashing in the pool were getting it wet. You can use it as a boat oar. Only thing I changed was to put some coated strings on it. Great traveler!

    I play mine daily and I’m not afraid to take it with me anywhere. It’s so cheap that if it did break I could replace it easily

      Big props to you on getting started in guitar. I guess you could say I am at the opposite end of that spectrum. Been playing for many years in bands and solo. Been a great ride! With 22 guitars/basses, I decided to make this one number 23. BUT it IS my first ever carbon fiber guitar, s I guess that is something.
      Here's wishing you a great journey in the world of guitar playing.
      PS: Even after all the years I have been playing, I still have much to learn. The day I stop learning things on guitar will be the day I give them all away. :)

    Did you know that Enya has just released a new - even smaller version called the Nova Go Mini? The body of Nova Go Mini is 1/4 sized (32 in"). Also has a truss rod. I HAD to order one because I love both the SP1 and acoustic versions. Mine arrives day after tomorrow.🙂🎸🎶

    Your concern regarding the nut perhaps should be reconsidered. You pointed out that the guitar has a zero fret, so the nut, (or lack of one), does not impact string height. On a zero fret guitar, the nut serves only to space the strings in the horizontal plane. Usually, a zero fret option is reserved for high end guitars. Try it, you'll like it!

    I got the AI model but it has very noisy electronics, I like the guitar though, especially after I lowered the action ( a lot) , adjusted the neck and put on some D'Adaario 80/20 .011 strings.

    I't a 3/4 guitar. How is it to play that guitar for you in terms of comfort and easiness?
    Thank you!

      According to Amazon's product page; Enya it is 1/2 size. It is definitely smaller. The fretboard is definitely smaller. I can play it perfectly fine but there are times when I'm missing that extra space. I hope that helps.

    • @marksmusicCC
      @marksmusicCC Год назад +2

      Yeah they are definitely a 3/4 and the scale length is around the same as many other travel sized guitars, takes some getting used to playing but it is not like you have to learn to play all over again, once you do get used to it them a full scale guitar feels real easy. These guitars do play nice but they do need a set up from factory, I also put lighter gauge strings on mine.

    how are u amplifying it ?
    what mic is that could u share the model?

      So I ended up just using my phone's camera mic. Initially I had lavalier mics on it (these are the ones I use and they are awesome:
      amzn.to/3lMOviQ for ios and these for android: amzn.to/3kbIFXX) I use them for voice and normal acoustics.
      But because of how the sound projection works on this guitar, the results were ... weird. So I stuck with my phone's mic.

    How is the neck size on this? I have small hands. Hard to tell on videos.

    • @RafsGearReviews
      @RafsGearReviews  Год назад +1

      It's perfect for small hands. It's a c shape neck that is probably 75% the size of a standard acoustic guitar neck. Just right for smaller hands but still a good enough sizs for players with 'more normal sized adult hands'. I can only think it might be uncomfortable for someone very tall with very large hands and long fingers.

    It's a terrible guitar. The neck is very thick and the action is horrible.
