This is the only review that had issues with the fretwork or routing issues. I've watched a lot of reviews on Sires. What merchant did this guitar come from?

This is just natural normal for a new guitar bro. And it is not disgusting, that is lovely guitar, just make fully set up and it will be okay. and guitar will not be problem, is how you play not the guitar. That is perfect guitar, dont tell that is disgusting lol

The issue that would concern me is the protruding fret ends. That would certainly affect playability. Less than perfect routing work hidden by a cover plate would not concern me, nor would a bit of finish overspray.

Thanx. I will stay away. I try to avoid guitars that have issues. I am unable to competently fix playability problems on my own so I have to rely on a local guitar tech guy. The relationship is good but the fix increases the cost and can make the purchase a poor decision. No constructive criticism from me - I got the information I needed.

Can’t help thinking these issues should have been pick up by Thomman’s QC on receiving it from Sire.

The routing must've affected the way he's playing, you can hear it in the jam video. He's getting his musicality and inspirtion from the routing that's why it's such a big deal for him

I think this was meant to be a great guitar but mine had problems. Frets were not level and there was always a slight fuzzy sound when played clean which was annoying to me so I sold it. I now own the sire S3 and like it much better.

1st negative review I've seen on this guitar.

*I'm sure it's a good enough starting point.* I will convert the one I ordered over to 24-frets by installing a bigsby and a rolling saddle bridge piece that slides on a wood base so it can accommodate the 25.5" spacing required. I just scored a 24-fret maple vine inlay neck on a bid for 32 bucks delivered off Ebay. I get it, some people have serious complaints about this particular model, but at under $150, I almost always expect to be completing rebuilding those guitars straight out of the box. I'm a shred and sweep symphonic style player and an engineer so I have a huge advantage over others and so, my opinion of what's high quality and what's not shatters images and offends egos lol. *I've rebuilt $65 Glarrys to the point of routing bridge pockets and installing a 2-point floating tremolo after mass mods including thinning the neck by easily 1/4" lol.* Bottom line is I have 0.6mm action on the 24th fret on both E strings, no buzz, a beautiful looking instrument and it sounds amazing. *Out of the box, most anything for $65 has 1/4" action at the 12th fret just to be playable lol* You gave a fair review and I'm certain it's a great project guitar.

Not enough bass response in that amp sim,sounds as bad as the cheap Marshall I bought used,has that annoying thin transistor sounding grit .

I bought the same guitar. The pickups were really weak @ 5.12 Bridge/ 4.72 Neck. Being so low didnt help since they couldn't be brought up higher. New foam, and longer screws were needed, but I had issues sourcing them. The pocket, and neck angle was so far off that it took 2 wood shims to straighten. The tuners alip constantly while turning. I had 8 high frets, so it needed a fret level. It required so much work that it's still sitting in the closet for almost a year. I'm just glad that I paid only $70. I did hear that the Thinline & Strat Styles were better quality, but I'm not buying another GearIt ever again.

Very Cool, Thankyou Raf. Such an Awesome Amp. I have had a JOYO Jam Buddy for a few years now and No-one has showed this amazing little amp ANY love for years since release really, shame. Now suddenly 5 reviews in a week from my 'sub' Channels ..... quite a few years after it's release.... LOL. Joyo "Re-Launch"?? hahaha. The Re-Chargeability/Battery Life of this Amp is an AMAZING Feature and often gets over-looked in reviews..... Great Sound, Great Features, Great Portability/Accessibility etc. So Awesome. One thing about all the firefly's I have (3 of them) is that the NECK is FAT, baseball type.... so if you don't like fat necks, beware.... I find most reviews about these fireflys seem to conveniently omit this rather crucial detail.... am I the only one noting this ??

Fast-forward one year, and I just bought this exact guitar for $279.00. It turns out you predicted the future.

I think the fit and finish on this guitar is better than some more expensive guitars in the thousand dollar rsnge

I just received mine the other day and I love it ,I have the headless and the Strat style Eart and they are really good too so I knew I would love this one.
