If you are not a hypocrite you have been vocal about the Uighurs and Tibetans. The Rohingya and Burma. Sudan. Syria. This does not mean Israel's tactical response has not been wrong. Understandable given the issues of MOUT and an opponent embedded as Hamas is. It just means a lot of folks see the outrage as very selective. Practically the Palestinian's best choice is a two-state solution. Although they have done a lot to make that unpalatable for Israel. It is still a good choice as there is not going to be a return or unitary state. Israel is a nuclear-armed state and for them Never Again means if they see their own demise they will, an unspoken policy, take the rest of the ME with them. The same as US policy. Read Rosenberg's "Nuclear War." Protests are fine and a Constitutional right. Ones that work towards a solution that will make more sense. It is what it is. In November you have two choices. Biden and slow progress or trump. The latter will block Muslim travel and his round-ups will target US Muslims and Arab Americans. We will end up in a civil war and those folks will become collateral damage. You can spare the comments as I never check back. Just my observations like em or not.

There are a lot of statements in the media that anti-semitism is on the increase. Some U.S. politicians are trying to give anti-semitism a broader definition.
But I have not seen any actual proof of this beyond repeated statements. Does anyone know whether anti-semitism is on the rise, decline or just staying about the same?
Acknowledging both sides of the situation would have been a stronger position to take.
Once again; this didn’t start on October 7. It goes back beyond seven decades. But you don’t have to go back that far to see it didn’t start on Oct 7. Earlier in 2023 Israel was arming violent settlers and looking the other direction while they killed their neighbors. Earlier in 2024 Palestinian homes were being demolished in East Jerusalem. Mosques were being attacked. For 15 years prior to Oct 7 Gaza was suffering under a brutal 15 year blockade. This did not start on October 7.

To the people who say that criticizing Israel for what's going on in Gaza isn't anti-Semitic, you're right. Criticizing ANY country for its behavior is fine, but when that criticism turns into hate speech, that's where the line should be drawn. Protesting Israel's actions in Gaza is fine, but everyone knows that anti-Semitic slurs have been hurled online and in person, there've been attacks on Jewish students on various campuses, and, gee, are they responsible?
And I have yet to hear ANY of the pro-palestinian Kaffiyeh Karens and Kaffiyeh Colins say ANYTHING about Oct. 7th last year or the hostages (if they're still alive) being held now.
