Honestly, Klitschko fought scared--look how upright he was throughout. Even when Fury over-extended and presented angles for countering with left hook or upper cut, Klitschko still hung back, looked unsure of a strategy, opting to hook and hold on to Fury. While Fury surely deserved this win, I still have much respect for Klitschko and his sense of civic duty to Ukraine.

God I miss the late 80's and entire 90's HW boxing matches. They had strategy, postioning, and skills. Nobody looked liked they were ready to defend themselves or unleash an assault on you like Tyson did. Holyfield was much the same, but more of a counter puncher. These guys looks like they're actors in a ROCKY movie. They're stance and positioning look like they aren't intending to use any leg or hip thrusting power in their punches. This is the difference between compact/agile 220 pounders vs. the "Super Heavyweights" who exist now.
That's just his style and it makes for a good fight as nobody can adjust to it. I believe Vitali was the only one who might could've found a way to beat Tyson Fury because he the only one who was able to adjust to different styles in the ring and he was so good at it.

Fury was able to nulify his 1,2s and Vllad couldn't adjust which left him in an awkward position. Where as for usyk and Aj, you could see how they both adjusted to each other's skill level within the match which made the fight exciting. Usyk and Joshua are both comfortable in fighting taller opponents as well. I respect Fury as a fighter, but chances of him beating Aj or Usyk are as equal as the chances of them beating him as well. One of them put Vladamir down(despite his age he was more ruthless than his fight against Fury) and the other was chased out of the ring for Schooling Klitscho during sparring while preparing for Fury.
Fury is just a freak. It makes no sense a guy that size and physique having such insane skills. Genuinely never seen a heavyweight like him in forty years watching. We should appreciate him while he's here, compare his approach in this fight with how he fought in that third Wilder fight. Night and day in terms of approach and style, yet both brilliant. Hope he keeps it together and stays motivated.

I never really watched Klitschko fights in the past, but he was way too passive in this fight. Granted, it was probably from fear, but when he actually brought it in the later rounds, he started landing some decent shots. Even then, Wilder brought his bombs to Fury and couldn't beat him either, so maybe Fury is just one of the greats.
It's not that m8. Boxing is not that simple. Look at how fury stands against him, klitschkos technique is 1-1-2- 1-2-1. Tyson knows this, he's waiting for it. The problem with klitschkos technique is that if the opponent dodges it leaves your sides open, easy hits. He'ld just get destroyed. He could go for it in the end cus fury was tired as well, his speed (his strength as a fighter) was slower, he couldn't dance and dodge so much. This wasn't a fight about who's better, this was a fight about technique. And fury's is the perfect counter to klitschkos style. Both are legends, I'ld say on equal level, it's just a coincidence that fury's style is the best against klitschko.

Klitschko never does a body shot. Most of K's opponents have been shorter in height. This is one of the few where they are the same height, so the same reach. Being a 9vs10 for each round it was a close fight

I would say Wilder was fierce / aggressive though - maybe not as skilled as Mike Tyson, Lennox, Vitali Klitschko etc. - but he had power, and wasn't afraid to throw big shots. Fury has more skill than people give him credit for. The hand positioning, head movement, feints, punch angles - combine that with his size and speed he'll be a tough fight in any era.
Well Klitschko would have won if Fury hadn't of defeated him.

I never really watched Klitschko fights in the past, but he was way too passive in this fight. Granted, it was probably from fear, but when he actually brought it in the later rounds, he started landing some decent shots. Even then, Wilder brought his bombs to Fury and couldn't beat him either, so maybe Fury is just one of the greats.
It's not that m8. Boxing is not that simple. Look at how fury stands against him, klitschkos technique is 1-1-2- 1-2-1. Tyson knows this, he's waiting for it. The problem with klitschkos technique is that if the opponent dodges it leaves your sides open, easy hits. He'ld just get destroyed.
He could go for it in the end cus fury was tired as well, his speed (his strength as a fighter) was slower, he couldn't dance and dodge so much.
This wasn't a fight about who's better, this was a fight about technique. And fury's is the perfect counter to klitschkos style.
Both are legends, I'ld say on equal level, it's just a coincidence that fury's style is the best against klitschko.

It wasn't Klitschko night. The fight was horrible. Fury is much better in his comeback, now he is a hell of a fighter. My top 2020 2021! Wladimir was a class & technique. On a better night, it would be a perfect fight. Both were surprised by each other. Too much tension and less control of the ring, by both. No legitim punches from Fury. Frustrating night. It should be an act of revenge if Fury didn't go mad...
Klitschko never does a body shot. Most of K's opponents have been shorter in height. This is one of the few where they are the same height, so the same reach. Being a 9vs10 for each round it was a close fight

I’m sure Tyson Fury punches hard. But, his style in this fight was reminiscent of a drunken sailor in an alley fight. Klitchko looked like he wasn’t throwing punches with evil intentions. And Fury looked carefree, like a fighter who knew has was safe. If Fury had fought like he did against DeOntay Wilder, we would have had a fight!
Rematches are where the money is anyway, so I’m sure someone paid Klitschko to grab and hold and pull his punches.

Touching,but fury he is blessed that there no upskilled & fierce aggressive fighters nowadays otherwise it's more of him capitalizing on his height&physique coupled with fearless atittude than real natural boxing acumen
I would say Wilder was fierce / aggressive though - maybe not as skilled as Mike Tyson, Lennox, Vitali Klitschko etc. - but he had power, and wasn't afraid to throw big shots. Fury has more skill than people give him credit for. The hand positioning, head movement, feints, punch angles - combine that with his size and speed he'll be a tough fight in any era.
