In this episode in our series of bonsai techniques we will be returning the trident maple that we rough styled last season. After growing strong last season we had to go back and restyle the apex as the taper was not there in the future product so without skipping a beat we found and developed a new leader. The purpose of this progression series is to learn how take a tree from a grown material into a bonsai.
