Last year I wrote a love letter to London. This year London wrote one to me. I am so grateful to have another fun week in this wonderful city. Enjoy my silly adventures on the first stop of this month of solo traveling. Next stop...Barcelona!!

LOVED this! Smashing the solo travelling.. fair play! You chose a good time to go, as it has been 84-92 degrees farenheit here this week! If you come back, please don't go back to Hyde Park.. It is only the 4th biggest and it is quite boring... There are 3,500+ parks in London.. go Regents, Greenwich, Hampstead Heath or better yet - RICHMOND Park!!!

@@socielledstance no I did not, but I stayed near Earls Court station and I really liked the area! You can connect to practically anywhere in the city via that station!

I didn’t stay in a hotel or a hostel so I unfortunately don’t have any recommendations. I stayed in a type of airbnb where you just have one room and share the bathroom with other guests/the hosts. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s a great budget option!

WHY, WHY, WHY always LONDON, the uk is a beautiful place with beautiful countryside, why do people only want to visit ANOTHER city?
Because London is one of the great cities of the world and from a practical point of view is very easy to get around in. England and the whole of the UK is beautiful and full of history, but really should be a separate holiday from London. Although the UK has a generally good train system, it is probably easier if you have your own car, so you can visit those out of the way spots.

There is more to the UK than JUST facking London, I'm a 59yr old Englishman and I've NEVER BEEN TO LONDON, friends have worked down there and they all say the same thing, ITS A SHITHOLE, OVERPRICED AND OVERRATED

People should not be allowed a backpack as big as their carry on Personal bags are supposed to fit under the seat not take up someone else’s space in the overhead You should be ashamed of yourself
@@GeorgeSickinger Perception is a silly construct. Deemed not apparent to all, my backpack is within the allotted dimensions for a personal item, provided by the airline. It was indeed placed under the seat for the entire duration of the flight, never once in the overhead compartment. Only my carryon was placed in the overhead compartment. 🙂
For Formula one fans, all the races and qualifying are repeated on free to air Channel 4 a few hours after Sky TV.

Just subbed! I didn't think id enjoy watching this but I did. F1 fan i see, used to be until they started messing with the rules and regulations. Travelling alone can sometimes be a scary experience, glad you enjoyed yourself here

Where is Newbury Park tube station located
in London?
Newbury Park is in the North East of London,nearly out of London altogether
Hainault via Newbury Park is a tube destination. It is on the Central Line. I used it to go to school in Fairlop.

That "Secret Spot" is on the embankment just in front of St Thomas's Hospital, where my eldest two Daughters were born, the view you were after is the view my wife had from the maternity ward and the first was born to "My Seewt Lady Jane" by the Rolling Stones and the Second was born to "Janine" by David Bowie.
