I started playing this games because of these guys. I really enjoyed with rest of the game. I don't think I fully understood what it was trying to say, but that didn't stop me from having a good time. I even found some cool secret stuff, like a whole hidden area.
Speaking on the Dark Souls thing... I am thankful for my friend in middle school that was obsessed with it and would always ask me to watch him play. Eventually, I asked to play. He let me set it up, and was like, "Yeah... You're probably gonna want that master key for your starting gift." So, I obliged. He had to go help his Mom with something and left the room when I was heading through the first part. I ended up using that key on the watchtower and ran immediately into Havel. I actually screamed in fear, he comes back to check on me, and he was just like, "Oh yeah... That's Havel. Haha." Needless to say, I was enamored by it but didn't go back to beat it until I was in like 10th grade.
I kept seeing a moment from this playthrough on “best ofs” but couldn’t find the actual original playthrough or game. Super glad I can now binge “new” content

Idk if you've ever seen Neebs Gaming but they did a fun run of that. They're pretty hilarious and talented. But they do a lot of other games too. Worth checking out for the quality of voice acting.
