In all honesty, I thought the prototype coated cubes I got a while ago were ok, but not great. These cubes are a big improvement over the prototypes. The coating adds a different feel to the puzzle, and the fact they are set up with Angstrom lubes makes a big difference.
I have a good feeling the black one will be my main, but I want to solve with them a little while longer just to make sure. It's a big decision, and a big recommendation to make.
As the puzzles are right now, I would recommend them.

Hey cbc, my nieces birthday is coming up and she is really getting into speed solving cubes. she uses my old rubix cube, since i stopped solving cubes and never did it for speed it.(its a reaaaaaaly bad rough cube) I was wondering if you could recomend a good fairly priced cube for a starter/medium cuber.

if you want a cube under $10, I would highly recommend the yuxin little magic, or the MF3RS2. If you are willing to spend more than $10, Id recommend the YJ MGC. It is a magnetic cube, and is amazing for its price ($15).

I have the Gts3m and the ridges are weird and they take some getting used to.
i have the gts3 and got the cubcile lube service, it was smooth and the ridges dont do anything, but they are a good change
When your pb goes from 17.51 to 13.17 due to going ultra instinct on f2l and a 1 look oll and a pll skip this is the best day of my life (also I average around 23-24)

A lot of the "algorithms" end up being intuitive when it comes to F2L. It's just getting grasp on the concept of matching pairs. It can lower your average very quickly.

PIANO PLAYS Lubicle Black is in the cube. Next time be more specific but I think you're trying to ask what lube was put on the pieces of the cube, and the lubes put in were Traxxas 30k, Gravitas and DNM-37.
