    The mf3rs3 u got was the prototype. That was only prototype cube's box. U just unboxed it very late. Hope u got the point.

    I actually have done an experiment with two MF3RS2s where I magnetized one using The Cubicle's strong magnet kit and left the other one without. Going back and forth it really does seem off, but I get similar times when I re-get used to it. So I am not sure if magnets really make a difference to the times, at least in lower order cubes, since it's pretty easy to keep the layers from going wild west in misalignment. Personally I like the feel of both for their own ways. Magnets gives it a neat tactile feel but no magnets is so nice and buttery smooth.
    It really is quite amazing what a little lube does. Corner cutting without it feels very... sticky. It'll cut, but it seems like it takes more effort than it should. Adding a few drops of lube however just makes them slide right through the cuts.
    That all being said, it was pretty awesome seeing your review on this because your initial thoughts on everything gradually transitioning to what they ended up concluding was an epicly unbiased look into it! :D

    Will u review the magnetic one? Maybe a comparison between the mf3rs3m and kylin v2m

    Kudos for selecting music that's understated and keep the volume relatively low. I'm not a fan of music in videos like this but, if you're going to use music, you've definitely done it the right way.

    Nice music for the solves part. Love it. No more non magnetic for me. For the same price there are many great budget magnetics available. I will only carry a non magnetic cube if I am out and about, when the cube can be borrowed, misplaced, or lost, and for casual recreational solving. Great review especially the insight in discipline for using non magnetic.

    The MF3RS3M is really good I would totally recommend you pick up a magnetic one, because then it becomes absolutely amazing and it is my main over the X

    This cube is really good especially the magnetic version!! When I got my mf3rs3 it was pretty early before they released so I got it in the same box you did so it might be a early batch

    I just got the black magnetic version of this, which I really like. I tend to go back to the stickerless nonmagnetic mf3rs2, I feel is one of the more controllable, for me, without magnets.

    I definitely go back and forth between my magnetic and non-magnetic puzzles. To be fair, I am using puzzles over a year old, so maybe they aren't as similar to newer puzzles but I still enjoy them both.

    The reason why the cube is blocky is because of the second lip in the corner stock, that makes the cube flexible and better if you magnetized it.

    First, you have a prototype, so it's not as good as the new one. Second, you'll do a lot better with the magnetic version. Just get it, seriously, It's my new main over the Valk 3 M that I got from my friend.

    For casual solves and long sessions I actually prefer non magnetic, I find magnetic cubes more tiring to use.

  • @rookrabbit3006
    @rookrabbit3006 5 лет назад

    Most of my solves are done on non magnetic puzzles, i prefer light mags on cubes when i use magnetic cubes or my hands will start hurting super quick. Seriously, like ten mins of solving with strong mags my hands will hurt for a day.

    Non-magnetic cuber here. I'm not a rebel, haha, more like a cripple. I've got trouble with my hands. Cubing hurts, especially when I have to apply a lot of pressure to turn the cube. Magnets mean resistance and resistance means pain. So magnetic puzzles are not for me. You have to fight resistance with every single turn. But I understand that magnets must be awesome for people with strong, healthy hands.
