Always fascinating to hear Tesla owners abjectly apologising to Tesla for having all these problems with their new cars.
Agreed! He sincerely hopes that Elon sees his video and gives him special treatment. That's the whole point of the video "I have defended Tesla through everything... I have recommended Tesla to many people... I dont suck up to people" The denial is great with this customer.
It really hurts me that you wasted 100,000. But if Elon gave you special treatment by making this video, then all those who have problems with their "truck" would start making these videos. It is not a family car you have bought. You bought it because it is dangerous to everyone else. Let's just be honest. Think of all the pedestrians who are saved while it is in the workshop.

You can afford a $100K truck but you don't have the common sense to wait to see if a new model works because of ego.
If you spend 100k on a vehicle like this with a non-luxurious interior, dangerous anti-pedestrian build, no drivers display or AR HUD, no retractable rear step like on the F150, and more, then more fool you. What's shocking is you want it swapped for another one.
I wonder what it would take to finally break the spell that Elon cast on you.
They obviously weren't honest about the original repair when they told you it was a corroded ground wire. It was only a couple weeks from production, and I doubt anything could have corroded by then. Now, out of 3800 delivered to date, two of them are laid up at the same repair center with the same problem, again? They have an issue and don't want to make headlines with another recall.
I also think this is why they made the 'no re-sale for 1-year' contract. They know there are major issues, and they don't want dissatisfied customers like you selling your truck so they can continue to dump them for a whole year at ridiculous prices. I don't think they will sell more than 40 or 50K of them and they will go the way of the original Hummer.
You too emotionally attached to Tesla. Chances are you ain't getting a new truck and you'll still be a Tesla cheerleader even after driving 5 hours every weekend to get your NEW truck repaired.

Truck keeps breaking down. Build quality is baffling bad and so many of them, and yet Tesla knowingly released them that way. And in response: you say you're spending lots of time online supporting Tesla, responding to all the hate comments. Why?! Why are you spending all your valuable time doing PR work and boot licking of a billionaire, as if he's your personal best friend or something?
Protip: he doesn't care about you! (He probably laughs and finds you annoying.)
But you know who does care about you and love you: your family!
You'd be SO MUCH better off spending all that time you spend defending Elon, with your family instead. My Power Conversion System failed 3 days after delivery. It took 10 days to get it back because the warehouse sent one out but it was damaged in shipping. Once I got it back I had the truck for 3 days and it went out again.
The truck has been in service for 16 out of 22 days owned.
Tesla really needs to take a step back and look at the QC process again. No owner should have to keep their vehicles in service longer than in their own hands.
Oh man! That is crazyyyyyy! Many people are just having 1 issue that needs to fix, but my truck seems to be having all the major issues combined.

I knew going in that there could be some issues. I use to be a field engineer for the military testing command. I know what to look for when equipment is under load.
I honestly think it’s another component that is failing and the sensors are not picking it up. This could be sending bad data to the PCS and overloading it and making it bad.
I have gone over the shop manual the techs are just plug and play repair people.

File complaint with state, FTC, and other authority. $100,000 POS. Kitchen knife on wheels. $100,000 is Porsche Audi RS world, real cars, with top notch build quality, and backed by real car makers. Tesla is a goof. He just fired an entire group, remember Enron? And 5 hours to a service place, shows they are not a real vehicle maker with support readily available. You got fleeced. Get a porsche
Have you formally requested a replacement under the lemon law? Looks like it has to be out of service for either 20 days or 4 times for the same fix for the law to apply. Tesla isnt going to create an expectation that it volunteers to provide replacements rather than trying to fix it. I hope it gets fixed right away, but if it is out of service for more than 20 days, invoke the lemon law directly. Hopefully that foesnt require an attorney, but probably a formal request. Not all states give you the option of a replacement vehicle, so that is good. But guessing you will have to wait months to get one (as many people have paid and are still waiting). Good luck! you must have had nothing but crap trucks if the cybertruck is the best car you've ever owned, when it sounds like it's been in the shop more days than you've had it to drive. my now ex-ford f150 truck? hardly ever been in the shop. it just worked, had deer, moose, elk in the back from hunting, lots of wood in the back for winter fires, hay bales for cattle, survived many a car wash too!! I know, car washes!!! finally got rid of it because it got old, and I moved to the city, didn't need it anymore.

You pay big for them to figure out how to build the car.
The 1st 40K cars are usually the “test fleet”, they may need to rethink the 48V/800V system. If it can’t charge, then it cannot charge another electric car (which is supposed to be a selling feature of the truck) 🤔. I’ve owned 2 Model 3’s and a Y w/no such issues like that (especially within the 1st 90 days post delivery), the common thread is that none of them were 1st gen, sub 40K VIN’s 🤔.

Yeah man, it has been quite the experience. I was super excited for this truck, so many things planned and I couldn’t even get to do them because it’s been away. To be honest, at this point I just want a new truck, because every time you drive this one you’re worried about it breaking down, and that’s exactly what keeps happening.

I'm not an expert on automotive lemon laws, but I don't believe they are required to give you another truck. Once they offered to buy it back they fulfilled their obligation. Then again, I have never in my life heard of somebody getting rid of a lemon only to buy the same thing again. Because nobody is that foolish. Except this guy, evidently.
